Lincoln quotes: I am not in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office..." --- Abraham Lincoln, 9/15/1858 campaign speech. 3/24/1862 letter to Horace Greely, New York Tribune "I will say, then, that I am not, nor have ever been in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races ... I am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race." --- Abraham Lincoln
Love listening to Rachel, but I'd suggest it's hardly a risk to look small next to Lincoln. One would be in good company ... basically everyone else in history.
