  • i dont care what anybody says Brady is top 3 of all time even after losing the superbowl, Eli is nowhere even on bradys level

  • Tom Brady....no....

  • where is namath and unitas?

  • @me1195 He doesnt deserve to be on the list. Not yet anyway

  • wheres jim kelley and drew brees

  • brady and peyton are douche bags. The other ones are all great. Vick should be on here, especially his Virginia Tech highlights.

  • @lizoalex haha your fucking insane. Vick doesnt even diserve to b in the top 25

  • where's vick? yeah the guy went to prison, but damn. he can throw AND run. nobody on the list even come close to the athletic ability or decision making of michael vick.

  • 1.Montana 2.Elway 3.Manning 4.Favre 5.Brady 6.Bradshaw 7.Marino 8.Starr 9.Unitas 10.Stabler

To my opinion, cause Aikman, without a team like the he got that years,I dont he can win a superbowl, and Young was a great quarterback, but just that, not for all times

  • BRAVO!!!! nice list at this point i think Favre is better than marino though only flaw idk maybe marino is better though i like #4 though

  • I like ozzy, I hate this fuck ass list

  • I happen to know both Ronnie Lott and Jerry Rice and you ask them to put this list together and they will say Joe Montana is number one and the rest you can talk about but it just doesn't matter. Joe's number was 16 and Young's 8 'nuff said! The rfacts are Joe won 4 Super Bowls and did that without a single interception and with a 130 passer rating! And the guy that caught a lot of those passes says Joe Montana was the BEST! I say Jerry Rice is right! The rest don't matter!

  • Any list without Montana at the top is an amatuer effort. The facts are the facts four Super Bowls with not a single interception thrown. And a mastery of some of the best teams ever coached by a master Bill Walsh show the results of a man who had mastered the game and his competitors. Like a great race driver who knows you have to have a great team behind you but finally when you are behind the wheel YOU have to drive the car to win Montana DROVE the 49er teams with an unmatched mastery!

  • Marino sucks!!!!!!!!!

  • Make it 12 and include fran tarkenton and otto grahm

  • i love brady!

  • of course brady beats marino. and when it's all said and done he probably is number one on this list. also namath's stats were complete shit. granted rules were a little different back then for what cornerbacks could and couldn't do when covering wideouts, but still a career passer rating of 65.5 and throwing 47 more Ints. than Tds shows just how overrated he was and still is.

  • @patsfandoce I agree with your list COMPLETELY: appearing in, and winning, four superbowls in a decade; never throwing a single interception in those SUPERBOWLS, and compiling a passer rating of almost 130 in those combined SUPERBOWL wins certainly qualifies Joe "Cool" as the greatest quarterback there ever was, is, and probably ever will be. He's the best of the best ... period! Manning's career stats are superior, but as Belichick said: stats are for losers, the final score is for winners!

  • @patsfandoce Your fucking dumb bro Marino is a more accurate and smarting quaterback in the game and ya brady does have like 3 rings which is huge and brady is a real good qb but not better then Marino ur completely ignorant and dumb, Brady will never be the Passer Dan Marino was.

  • terry bradshaw should be higher than steve young?

  • I agree with your # 1 spot but I think Peyton should be second.

  • FUCKING RETARD

  • Anyone that is objective and not a homer would have to agree that Joe Montana is #1

After that, it's debatable. I would go Elway #2 and Peyton Manning #3!

  • Would about Namath

  • Would about Namath

  • no way Brady beats Marino

  • Elway and Montana are the 2 best QBs ever anyone disagrees your an ass hole

  • reason montana is 1. 4 rings and this is OLD school football when a QB wasnt protected like a fuck bitch cunt. 2-999 can be debated but till someone gets 5 or 6 rings they can't compare no 1

  • Marino Forever doesnt matter u win a super bowl you need a team not just the QB

  • How bout that list is a little off...no way Brady should be above manning or Favre....and Favre should be on top

  • 1MANNING

    2 MONTANA

  • GO elway !!! f off montana

  • brady > all

  • Dan Marino could move to beat his way out of wet paper bag. If you need a pinpoint bomb, he was the man. Too bad he didn't have some receivers who could catch. Oh, yes, there was a few: key word-few.

Manning is probably the best quarterback in the NFL now. He just needs some receivers who can catch a football. Sounds familiar.....

  • If Manning had half as many super bowl rings as league MVP's I'd consider him the best. Until then I'll stick with my man Elway.

  • 1. Jamarcus Russel

    2. Brady Quinn

    3. Matt Leinart

    lol not!!!

    1. Marino

    2. Elway

    3. Favre

    4. Peyton Manning

    5. Montana

  • 1. Jamarcus Russel

    2. Brady Quinn

    3. Matt Leinart

    lol not

    1. Marino

    2. Elway

    3. Favre

    4. Peyton Manning

    5. Montana

  • Farve 1

    Marino 2

    Manning 3

    Brady 4

    Elway 5

  • #1 Dan Marino

    #2 Joe Montana

    #3Brett Favre

    #4 John Elway

  • @lakers4lifeordie is your list based on Stats cuz if it is why is montana second he shouldnt be in it lol now if your list is on greatest qb it should be more like this Montana Brady Elway Manning Unitas

  • @dolphinbuc are you kidding about Marino? He has the worst playoff record of anyone in the discussion. He is the only guy who isn't even at .500. Marino was a great passes, but not a great quarterback. Great Quarterbacks Win, Marino Didn't!

  • @sportsavant Your opinion is so rookish a true footbll fan would know its about the performance marino carried his team dumbass

  • @TheKoolvid you are so funny. why does marino have the worst playoff winning percentage of all QB's on any list. You are funny. Rookish? I like that new word, you are funny, or should I say, kool.

  • @sportsavant Yea you're rookish you do know his team was crap overall compared to most teams back in the day by now you should know he carried his team

  • @sportsavant results buddy, what are the results. you can live in a fantasy land, I live in the real world, and in this world, Marino wasn't as good as the others. ok kewl boy

  • I'm sorry...Montana I can see at 1,but Marino at 5? Marino pushes for the top spot on any list. This has nothing to do with rings. It has everything to do with performances.

  • Montana is not #1. Sorry.

  • @AlecBoy006 : You should be sorry as Montana is the only logical choice for number one. Perhaps you should take up knitting instead of watching football as a pastime.

  • @zorba81674 Be sorry? Nope. There are more logical choices and maybe YOU should take up football as a past time

  • i agree that all those qbs belong. but it's just not the right order AT ALL. brady shouldnt b so hi up, and neither should john elway. they should b like #7 and 8. and steve young and peyton manning should b higher. but joe montana as #1 is perfect.

  • you're missing Johnny U. And I disagree with people who say Brady doesn't belong, Super Bowls count for something, sorry. I agree with Montana being number one, but I'd have Johnny U in the top three. I like Bradshaw being on there. Marino should be lower, because of lack of rings. Manning and Brady move a couple of spots down to make room for Unitas

  • why isnt Jim kelly on there he never one but nobody has ever carried a team to four straight super straight super bowls and alot of records he held were barley broken by qb's in todays era.

  • I agree with no. 1, but Terry Bradshaw doesn't necessarily belong there because of his completion percentage and his interceptions (*check his stats*), the D and rest of the 'curtain practically carried him.(couldn't blame him for being risky 'cause of the great receiving corps though)

  • The only QBs in NFL history to win FOUR Super Bowls are: (1) Terry Bradshaw (2) Joe Montana.

The only QBs in NFL history to win THREE Super Bowls are: (1) Troy Aikman (2) Tom Brady.

The only QBs in NFL history to win TWO Super Bowls are: (1) Bart Starr (2) Roger Staubach (3) Bob Griese (4) John Elway (5) Kurt Warner (6) Ben Roethlisberger.

There are a total of 17 QBs who have won only ONE SB: including S. Young, B, Favre, J. Nameth, D. Brees, both P. & E. Manning, J. Theismann and J. Unitas.

  • @Mr88playmaker kurt warner won once

  • missionbears.. i dont care what sportscasters say or vote on. here is something that should prove that peyton is the best player of all time. last year at the beginning of the season, the 21 living hall of fame quarterbacks were asked who was a better quarterback between Manning and Brady. 16 of the HOF QB's picked manning, one split his ballot between Manning and Brady, and the other 4 had no vote. 16.5 for Manning vs .5 for Brady. i think im gonna have to agree with the HOFers on this one

  • Brady should be 9th or 10th.

I think Favre should be 4th.

    Elway shouldn't be 2nd..

  • fuck a damn superbowl.respect the best quarterbacks of all time

  • everybody knows that no.19 is no.1

  • I like everything except for brady. He shouldnt even be on the list. If he is at 9 or 10 maybe.

  • where the hell is johnny unitas? he's 1000 times better than favre

  • Elways number 2 why?? Bc he won 2 SuperBowls thanks to Terrell Davis carrying him there. Come give Dan Marino T.D. and he wins 2. Flip Elway with Marino and I'd think you'd have a better list..Also get Troy Aikman out of there Roger Staubach was a better Cowboy QB than him look at the stats he had like 15 td's more than picks in his career

  • dude, Brady can't be on this list. But Joe Montana is obviously #1!!!!!

  • @ShibbyMaster42

brady #3 is a good call.. idk what youre talking about.. this is a pretty damn good list..

  • hey prodigy 3000 ur a fucking faggot

  • excellent video

  • Favre has only one Super Bowl and leads the universe in interceptions.

He's barely in the top 5

  • Guess who won 4 superbowls ... of course Montana is the best !!!!!!!!!!!! No doubt about it..

  • We are the Champions ... Roll Tide Roll ...

  • Comment removed

  • no Unitas!!!! whats wrong with u? tom brady can suck my ass peyton is like #4 but brady barely makes the top 10

  • No Johnny Unitas?... WOW!

  • Manning has a shot at some day being the best of all time.

  • Manning is way overrated. all he looks to do is throw short passes...This guy Butchers any long passes....top 10 qb of all time? hell no...Joe Montana would have scored a td easy in that spot

  • Good list but maybe brady and manning should be a little lower until their careers are finished.

  • No qb is better than Brett Favre

  • The only way Brady should be on this list is if the list were the top 10 greatest fudgepackers in the nfl.

  • dan marino is the best qb in the history on the nfl he had shit dfrense shit o line and shit recievers and dont even mention the dolphins running game..

  • @Brownsfan825 jew brees ? no troy akiman hahahah u on drugs ?

  • My problem with Peyton Manning, Tom Brady is the rules have changed now to an offensive league so their stats are well inflated here. Back when Marino, Montana, Elway played the League was geared toward Defense. What Marino did to the 85 Bears is legendary. I watched that game and so did the whole nation and Marino took them apart. KIDS Remember the name DAN MARINO beacuse that's the best quarterback that ever lived

  • Dude, are you smoking the pipe? Aikman on this list? Brady higher than Marino and Manning? No Unitas? Come on.

  • you have ELWAY at number 2?!?!?! hahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahaha

  • I agree with everything but Tom Brady should not be that high up, he might not evenbe on the top 10.

  • Elway is #2 on this list..

  • and CJIWF is retarded. how do you justify ranking manning as 8th all time? learn some football then give your opinions

  • tom brady doesnt even make my top ten. peyton is best quarterback of all time right now and he is only what, 32? tom brady had one of the best teams in NFL history handed to him. He didnt earn his spot, it was given to him. Peyton had the worse team in the nfl. he now has the best team in the nfl and he built it all by himself. favre is a cry baby, so he should only be 4 or 5, joe montana second, then the rest are tossups with a lot of great players. again, peyton is easily best of all time

  • payton is the troy aikman of the 2000s his team is stacked just like aikmans was.... i would like to see him do what he does with a drew brees team or a favre team... cuz i doubt his career would be the same without the awesome line and wide recievers

  • Are you retarted? The colts wide recievers have 2 more Rookies then either the Vikings or The Saints. Hes done outstanding with what he has.

  • @kevizzle2020 look at aikmans receivers when he got his starting job and then look at peytons when he got the starting job. aikmans receivers never got better cuz they already were good. peytons (harrison, then wayne) had great careers because of him. plus, peytons best linemen were undrafted

  • Manning best of all time already. No doubt my friend.

  • 4 sb wins 11 tds 0 picks 3 time sb mvp joe cool the best ever bow down bitches

  • What the fuck are you talking about? Speak english, not ebonics, dumbass.

  • chokeeeeeeee haha cool joe always number 1

  • What kind of pats fan puts elway ahead of brady????

  • manning elway favre and marino are the best. only ones with 50k yards and manning was the youngest to do it. he will be the best qb of all time cause hes got a good 5-7 years in the nfl in not more

  • @alykaproductions Who cares about accumulated stats when comparing them to players who played less time in shorter seasons and with real defensive rules where you had to earn every yard.

  • dude you forgot alot of great qbs. Remember warren moon, roger staubach, otto graham, johnny unitas, even jim kelly. Oh yeah i love peyton manning but 4th greatest of all time? And BRADY better than peyton? Peyton should be #7 or 8 and Brady should be #9 or 10.

  • DREW BREES IS NOT BETTER THAN BRADY PEYTON SHOULD BE #1 AND well... yeah

  • first of all steve young is very overrated the only reason that he completed a lot of his passes was because he threw to the best receiver ever jerry rice. second of all peyton manning should be #1. and last of all TOM BRADY IS NOT BETTER THAN PEYTON MANNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And tom brady isnt even that good. He is way over rated

  • Peyton is the best quarterback ever and hes just gonna keep getting better and kepp breaking everyone elses records.

  • How do u not put Johnny U?

  • my list of all QB ever is:

    1.- Peyton manning

    2.- Joe Montana

    3.- Brett Favre

    4.- Dan Marino

    5.- Tom Brady

  • strictly by the numbers favres number 1.....he's had as many great seasons as hes had poor seasons since '99 tho....people seem to always seem to give marino so much more respect than elway i dont get it

  • nice list heres mine 1-joe montana 2-john elway 3-johhny unitas 4-peyton manning 5-steve young 6-tom brady 7-dan marino 8-brett favre 9-troy aikman 10-terry bradshaw honorable mention-jim kelly
  • first ovall Brett favre number 1!!!

second ovall john elway is not number 2

  • When favre wins his second superbowl and breaks a few more records he will be bumped from 6 to 1

  • you stupid fuck...u cant put manning b4 tom.

  • What the hell is tome brady doing there -_-

  • maybe because he has 3 super bowls, that might do it

  • wow yourr a fucking retard

  • and iono what kind of a list you just made

  • o..k other than that Kurt Warner has 2MVP awards and a Superbowl MVP award

  • @missionbears manning has 4 mvps and a superbowl mvp.. peyton wins

  • BRADY AND MONTANA

  • Will Kurt Warner ever make any of these lists he does have like one of the highest QB ratings of all time i think its 3rd or 4th highest

  • How can all u ppl who make lists forget fran tarkenton? Fran played on shitty teams until the last few years of his career. Also don't judge qbs by super bowl rings, because any coach will say teams win championships not individual players. here is my list: 1. Joe montana 2. Peyton Manning( his defs always sucked not his fault for only 1 super bowl win) 3. John Elway 4. Dan Marino 5. Johnny Unitas 6. Tom Brady 7. Fran Tarkenton 8. Steve Young 9. Brett Favre 10.Warren Moon
  • o shit i forgot dan marino. put him at 2 and bump they whole list back and knock manning off

  • 10 peyton manning

    9 steve young

    8 jonny unitas

    7warren moon

    6 bob greise

    5 troy aikman

    4 brett favre

    3 terry bradshaw

2 roger staubauch ( sry if i spelled it wrong)

    1 joe montana

  • @jackinthebox12321 terry bradshaw at 3 and higher than Johnny U... you were high when u made this list

  • john elway rocks!

  • yu guys are stupid muthafuckers. Montana had he leadership and skill none of the others had. marino can suck dick, so can elways and favre. favre has no leadership skills. thats what it takes to get FOUR superbowl rings idiots. fuck all you that say montana isnt number 1. he is and you know it. so go back to your fantasy world and get the fuck out.

  • Elway for sure

  • I SAY ELWAYS #1

  • I agree! :)

No way in hell should Brady be anywhere near this list.

  • 1.dan marino

    2. brett favre or joe montanta

    3.favre or montanta

    4.steve young

    5.maybe manning

  • Brian Griese, Tavarius Jackson and Matthew Stafford? Are you guys insane or just plain idiots? Those three will never be in the same league as Johnny Unitas, Roger Staubach or Warren Moon.

  • dude there being stupid on purpise. and brian griese will get there

  • No way Fave shound be better then Young also did and Dan win a bowl ever? No thanks to the niners in 85

  • 1) Favre

    2) Marino

    3) Elway

    4) Moon

    5) Manning

    6) Kelly

    7) Montana

    8) Fouts

    9) Esaison

    10) Aikman

  • Where the fuck is Tvaras Jackson and Mathew Stafford???

  • Comment removed

  • Wait, you forgot Jake Delhomme, Rex Grossman, JaMarcus Russell and Tim Couch. Oh, and Ryan Leaf and Akili Smith.

  • my list: 1.Favre 2.Dan Marion 3.Peyton Manning 4.Joe Montana 5. Tom Brady 6.Jon Elway 7.Big Ben 8.Steve Young 9.Eli Manning 10.TEN GREENE
  • forgott three 11.Drew Brees 12.BRIAN Greese 13.Philip Rivers (possibly if he finishes good)

  • Dan Marino is my #1 just for sentimental value. I hate the pats, so Brady doesn't make the cut for me. I like Big Ben just for the entertainment factor. That guy is a tank with a throwing arm. And as much as I hated Peyton Manning, the guy is pretty freaking good. I just hated Manning because he was breaking Marino's records. But its time to let that go. Favre is one of my favorites too.

  • Here's my list: 1. Johnny Unitas 2. Joe Montana 3. John Elway 4. Dan Marino 5. Sammy Baugh 6. Roger Staubach 7. Brett Favre 8. Otto Graham 9. Terry Bradshaw 10. Peyton Manning Actually the real #1 quarterback that no one has ever heard of is Benny Friedman. Only quarterback unquestionably the best of his era (I would say Unitas also but some might argue that).
  • You could find a reason or reasons why any one of these great QBs aren't #1 all-time.

Until a QB goes to the NFL and has Manning/Marino-esque numbers, wins playoff games right away with amazing clutch play, rarely throws INTs, and regularly wins super bowls while playing on a team with the talent level of, say, the Browns- there will never be a unanimous #1.

  • True dat, although I would say the closest anyone has come was benny friedman who in the 1920s turned pretty much every team he was on into a very good team regardless of the players on it. He also threw 20 tds one year, a number unheard of at that time.

  • It was unheard of because teams rarely passed in those days. An incomplete pass in the end zone was a turnover and the football was closer to a basketball.

I can't bring myself to really recognize Friedman much at all. The NFL was basically a minor league back then and had just 11-12 teams. The pre-facemask, TV, helmet logo NFL does nothing for me. I can't get into '20s, '30s or '40s NFL. Just way too primitive for me. Any league where a 5' 8", 170 lbs QB can dominate is not for me.

  • Yes the nfl was very primitive in the days where Friedman played, and it definitely did not favor the passing game. But that just shows how good Friedman had to be to have the kind of success he did. Also he was an innovator at the position and influenced most of the great quarterbacks that came after him. To me that makes him one of the greatest qbs of all time.

  • you gotta have brady on there... i hate the pats but hes got 3 champs

  • right now I put brady just outside top 10, not b/c he's necessarily worse than peyton manning but just because he doesn't have as many years under his belt. In maybe 4 years he'll probably be on there.

  • @audis4b5 he also has a vag and thinks he is a celebrity instead of trying to be the leader for the pats. peyton manning is the complete quintessential qb and will go down as best of all time

  • @mkwillzer then y is brady the one chosen as the best quarterback for the last decade?

  • i like your list thats like mine

  • I think Steve Young never got to fully accomplish himself after his injury... #8 Young!!!

  • sammy baugh.

    that is all

  • i think that you are all crazy Tom Brady shouldn't evn be up there and netheir should Peyton Manning they just haven't been in the league long enough. not saying that they aren't good QB's it is just too early for them

  • I always find this reasoning funny. Brady, I can see. He's played just 7 full seasons. But Manning is starting his 12th season and has more starts than Montana, Aikman, Bradshaw, Young, Staubach, and Starr to name just a few HOFers.

If he retired today, he'd be a slam dunk 1st ballot HOFer. At what year are they worthy to you?

  • you make no sense consistency is what makes a quaterback or great player for that matter not time served Brady doesnt belong because he can not play outside the pocket. Peyton can because he is one of the best ever

  • I have to laugh because every time I see Elway in one of these countdowns, I think of Jay Cutler and how brash he was to say that he is better than Elway. Not to say that the kid doesn't have talent, I think he does, time will just tell if his talent rises to the likes of any the 10 listed here.

  • now as a jets fan i pretty much hate all patriots but even i wasnt i would still think tom brady isnt the one of the greatest just because hes won 3 super bowls doesnt mean hes great it means the teams great so i think he need to play 3 more years b4 he on anyones list

  • yeh agreed Marino racked up huge stats early on while elways sats were more pedestrian early on because they were conservative and liked to run the ball. Just look at Ben Roethelisberger He is one of the top 3 quarterbacks in the league but he plays on a team with a bad offensive line that doesnt like to pass the ball at all. I agree with you it's more about the quarterbacks qualities that they carry with them physical talent intangibles.

  • I was lying Brady is already in my Top 5 maybe him and Peyton Manning will overtake Favre someday. But at certain point you got to just say that Marino had the best realse and quick delivery and Elway had the best overall athleticism and arm strength and Montana best decision making ability and touch (aside from Wareen Moon) and nobody will ever overtake those 3 guys.

    1.Elway

    2.Marino

    3.Montana

    4.Favre

    5.Brady

  • I think you tend to rank QBs based on physical talents- arm strength, mobility, release, touch, etc... which is fine, but I'm ranking them based on accomplishments: wins, titles, awards, stats, great moments, etc...

Marino had much better mechanics than most QBs, but he falls short simply because he didn't win a super bowl. Was it all his fault? Of course not, but QBs are measured by championships. No other position on the field can make that claim. That's not just me saying that either.

  • yes had marino won a championship i would have probably ranked him number one instead of #2. there wont ever be another Marino or another Elway sure there has been guys that are pretty close to elway in terms of physical talent randal cunningham but none of those guys also had the great intangibles that Elway had.

  • top tens always make great conversation. problem with nfl lists is that the style of offense has changed so much over the years, hard to say what an old-timer would do today and vice-versa. i say you have to look at a qb for decision-making, arm strength/precision, scrambling ability, leadership and competitiveness (stats just can't be compared era-to-era). so: i like bradshaw, montana, unitas, starr, favre, elway, tarkenton, young (steve, not vince), marino and namath.

  • Yeh thats what I am saying wait until their freaking careers are over ohh yeh and by the way adrain peterson is the best ever psych (he is pretty much my favorite player but it's way too early to tell remember when people were comparing LT to Jim Brown and saying he's the best ever nobody is saying that anymore) Stats arent everying but I think yards matter a lot in my opinion Touchdowns are semi-overated because they could be handing off to runningbacks in the red zone you never know.

  • This list is just ignorant Brady and Manning no way are they in the top 5 yet Brady only has 29,000 yards passing and manning has only got one superbowl no way and maybe they will never be in the top 5.

  • XA! Passing yards is such an overrated stat- you should know that. I can see holding off until their careers are over, but when you look at what they've already accomplished, and what is more than likely going to happen (more super bowls, more big-time numbers & thrills and both 1st-ballot LOCKS for the hall of fame), they've earned the right to be mentioned with the Montanas, Marinos, Elways and Unitassssess. ssesses.

  • yeh but i agree with what you were saying that they are 1st ballot locks and that should be mentioned with the other greats

  • YOUR LIST IS SO FUCKING WRONG

  • this is a very good list and i Like brady but i think Marino was better
