Honestly this is my fav vid of this truck. Good clips of the truck riping through everything in that baja desert. And the 6.2l v8 is described as monster... i mean a offroad truck engine that goes 155 on the dyno wtf thats scary fast lol

Too bad the truck in the video is nothing like what you'll get off the showroom floor. This one looks lightened by A LOT.

actually you can...it just debuted at SEMA, as did the new BOSS V8, its going to be rated at 411hp/434tq. Theres also going to be a Raptor XT which is essentially a copy of this truck, but with a full interior. Its going to have more travel,a factory roll cage, more skid plates and of course the baja prepped 500hp BOSS...its not street legal, only 50 are being made and costs a nice $100k

Whaaaat? They are selling a Baja prepped truck just like this one? Thats bad ass. I'll have to look more into it! The Raptor seems like just a F150 with a little more suspension travel and a lockable rear diff. The truck in this video is nothing like the regular Raptor.

actually theyre around the same, this is only lighter by a couple hundred pounds but its basically the same mechanically as the new Raptor

Kinda, not really. This one has a full rollcage you can see. I bet theres a bit more changed in this truck than you can notice.

cause from what it looks like is that its the same chassis but with a lot of reinforcement with race seats and roll bars, cause this car was basically the showroom raptor with a rollbar, bigger tires, and race seats

@ADD8oi actually it's total different frame,, wider and stronger than a standard F150 platform, skid plates and reinforcement Fox off road compitition set up for the street.

@James1toknow Well it really is a new truck for Ford , Wider and the suspention is set up for enduro Baja racing , I found a Ford web site that explains everthing, just punch in Ford SVT raptor in google and you can build your own and see the videos on the new product. Good luck I found It should cost you around 43. K for a well equiped one.
