I'd like to find out if anyone has heard the original 45 and if it's in mono or stereo. Every CD compilation or bootleg vinyl pressing I've heard with this track seems to use a lo-fi mono mix, which sounds like it was sourced from a mixdown for the film's audio track.

It still sounds like it has the same issue. The most glaring 'defect' is the sound of the hi-hat in the break ('fuh-fuh-fuh-fight'). It cuts out randomly, like the source tape was damaged or the hi-end was removed. I'll just keep an ear out for a true-stereo mix if it ever appears on youtube.

@phillydisco There are two versions of the theme on the soundtrack, this and the one with the voice dubs which sounds like it was mixed by Depth Charge or summit.

@DamnName100 There was no official soundtrack for this film. That second version was just pulled from the audio in the intro of the film itself, as were most of the tracks on the bootleg soundtrack LP.
