AHHH! James didn't notice the idea behind what Combofiend did at 32:45 . Combofiend did Bionic Arm and knew that Jint was going to do the counter hyper, so Combofiend DHC'd to Taskmaster, and as you can see, about a couple seconds later, Jint does the counter hyper. Unfortunately, there were arrows on the screen heading towards Combofiend, so the end result wasn't what he had hoped for. Still, pretty damn awesome to bait that hyper.

Oh, I see what was happening at 48:20—see, Phoenix Inferno counts as a sort of cinematic hyper combo but it was too high to hit Spencer (how a super that large has a hitbox that small, I don't know). So Spencer used Bionic Arm on the Tron assist that was out, DHC'd into Taskmaster's Aegis which performed the DHC Glitch on Tron but not on Phoenix since she never got hit by Spencer. That gave Taskmaster the time to X-Factor and Web Swing to Phoenix's level.

Ba-da-ding, ba-da-boom, Phoenix is dead.

Glad Combofiend won vs Viscant. Only reason Viscant won at all was because of level 3 x-factor and/or dark phoenix- Combofiend was playing so much better.

Not even using the advantage I have that Viscant won Evo so he doesn't suck at all, nobody plays at Viscant's level by relying on only 1/3 of his team. You are confusing the fact that Viscant has a team based around a specific goal (getting out dark phoenix) rather than team synergy that also can't use super with his non-phoenix characters being garbage.

Yeah your probably right Dante is pretty solid. The sole reason I think Phoenix is in the top five in the first place is becuse of Dark Phoenix+ Lv3 x facter= headache. it's Dark phoenix is just too strong with combo and chip damage, for me not to consider putting her in the top five. This was just my opinion but along with my top five Dante, Ammy and Taskmaster were close behind. Dante still qualifies for top tier but given the choice between zero and dante, I choose zero for #5.
