Why do all people jump with their left leg???

Too bad Hellebaut quit... a lot of potential there, especially after seeing her 2,05m at the European Indoor in 2007. She jumped 1,99m (being the only left in competition), then jumped 2,01m, 2,05m and then attempted world record 2,09m and got close... that was simply impressive, !

True but it depends on which era we're talking about. With the exception of Kostadinova's, all women's records dating back to the 1980s should not be taken into account as they were clearly drug-aided. Then again, I'm sure Kostadinova herself would call gold in Atlanta the highlight or her career, or that WR holders like Kipketer or Powell would exchange their records for an Olympic gold medal.

I doubt Stefka was clean, esp. given how widespread doping was at the time in general, and in Bulgaria in particular (Bulgaria is still infamous for its doping scandals).The reason why I singled out Kostadinova is because, after all, she still had a brilliant career after the fall of the iron curtain, unlike 95% of her cheating contemporaries.But yes,I should have made it clear Stefka is also suspicious.

I know she doesn't have the same pedigree as the other jumpers, i just really like her style. Not many others can attack the takeoff that well. By the looks of that 2m clearance though she could well go much higher in the future.
