Very typical, people only hate 2010 becouse it featured a talking car which had no connections to KITT or any of the knight rider continuity. People don't understand that is a new imagination of Knight Rider, never intended to have any connections...

No, the original Knight Rider 2010 script mentions KITT and refers to a group of them as Knight Riders.
The actual finished product was a frakenstien of parts and 99% of the script was raped. Which is also why that movies plot line was hard to follow.
