When it comes to comics, Whedon is HIGHLY overrated. Honestly, I LOVE Firefly and Serenity. And, he did a great job with Astonishing X-Men. But, he drove one of my absolute favorite books (Runaways) into the ground during his six issue stint. Unfortunately it hasn't been able to recover. If I had been able to make it to NYCC, I don't think I would have considered it an honor to meet Whedon. Now, Millar, David, Kirkman, Marz... yeah, I probably would have near bowed in front of those guys.
