  • this is the best part

  • Were you in American Pie?

  • @AceProductions91 I think he was in American Pie Book of Love xD

  • You do a good Randall impression

  • hey you have that guys slight speech impediment pretty good

  • HOLY SHIT I've watched this video three times and just now realized that there's two Brandons in the same shot at the same time =O

  • great job guys

  • He had the Randal vocal cadence down pat. This guy is awesome!

  • @artieTSMITW - it takes me a week to memorize a paragraph of dialogue, and I use every (that I know of) in the book. Are you a natural at memorizing dialogue?

  • Do clerks 2

  • Holy shit. You know what, I just realized something. In the movie and in your scene.

Dun and Ready never pays for his coffee.

    Mother fucker!

  • CHEWBACA!!!!!

  • i love clerks downloaded both movies.

  • I would have rather seen his attempt to act, than imitate. This may be a half-decent imitation of bad acting, but that just makes it a slightly crappy version of something slightly crappy. Why not blow us away with your take on the scene? Better advertisement of your talent too.

Less impressed with this one than some of the others (FMJ and Pulp Fiction were good, for instance.)

  • Only a great actor can re-enact terrible acting

  • Great job! I know it may be against your religion but can you do a re-enactment of SS Colonel Hans Landa in Inglorious Bastards, the Dairy farm scene. If you nail that one i know you are good. DIG DEEP, you can do it!

  • @hapyyidiot wtf?

  • @hapyyidiot Why would that be agains his religion? He's already done a re-enactment of Hitler.

  • He nailed Randall!

  • They would still be Imperials... but Imperial civilians. Just because your planet isn't part of the Rebel alliance doesn't make you a bad guy :P

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • I'm surprised these don't have more views

  • Well, somehow this guys makes cinema interesting again...

  • wow you have lots of talent

  • Dude this is amazing...you nailed the voices and the mannerisms of all the characters. You've got quite a talent.

  • Based on personal politics.

  • Nice touch with the supernova background music.

  • Wow, I was genuinely surprised how good this was. Nice work, you even had Randal's dialect pretty much spot on.

  • The usage of the doggy door to reenact this scene was brilliant! It was either that or put a hole in the wall, eh? lol

    The titties made me giggle.

  • Good, but better acting in shawshank. Maybe u should do a scene from the green mile? Not the scene where they fry poor Delacroix please.

  • What the hell are you even talking about.

  • haha good job, but maybe, though, with a movie like this, you could improve on the acting

  • This was a fun movie, but the acting was crap. It must have been hard for Artie to deliver those lines so poorly just to be true to the movie. Artie is a true talent. When am I going to see him on TV?

  • Wouldn't surprise me

  • This is perfect, it sounds like I'm actually watching the movie when I don't look at the screen. Awesome job!

  • YUSSS!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Well, not quite as good as some of your other re-enactments.

  • @BenHeffernan he's playing 3 different people!!! what more do u want?!?!

  • k now that was good. i am now a fan!!

  • your the best...

  • Wow. I haven't even seen the movie, but good job talking to yourself in two different takes. That's hard to do! Loving these re-enactments!

  • Hahaha very good reenactment, keep up the good "ework"

  • Based on a conversation Kev and Mos had with some guy eavesdropping.

  • he should do Jay and Silent Bob

  • Any idiot can do Jay and Silent Bob. That's acting, not fooling around.

  • Man, that Randall Graves impersonation is spot on.

  • Great job, I love your reenactments

one minor detail you left out of this one though...where is Jay stuffing stolen snack cakes down his gullet while the 'clerks' are busy in conversation?

  • VERY FUCKING GOOD.

  • the sith where left wing ..

    AHHAHAH!! Finally someone says it.

  • In the movie, the left wing militants Randall is referring to are the Rebellion.

    Just so's ya know.

  • please check out my movie trailers by typing in withdrawal trailers. they're labeled trailer one and two. please rate and comment

  • shocking attempt at randal.

  • Great job on a great scene from a great movie.

  • Wow, that was actually pretty damn accurate.

  • Clerks and Kevin Smith are god!

  • Right on with the movie!

  • I'm just recently discovering Kevin Smith films. Hey, I'm 17.. I wouldn't have understood this stuff a decade ago. Anyway, you do one heck of a Randal to say the least. You better be in a high-profile movie soon.

  • This was actually much much better than I thought it was going to be, I saw the title and thought it would be lame, but I actually enjoyed this. You did very well.

  • fucking epic scene

  • this scene is so epic

  • You did Randall's accent very very good!

  • So when are you going to be on SNL?

  • Overproduced. ;)

  • do one of clerks 2. any parts!

  • PILLOWPANTS

  • lol he looks like brent butt from the canadian show corner gas :P

  • even got the song haha Chewbacca!

  • dude needs to do True Romance...the scene w/ chris walken and dennis hopper...cause you my friend are an eggplant..

  • man, i reeeally want to see you do the scene from Bad Seed where rhoda's mother finally realizes her daughter is a murderer...

  • This and Dogma are PERFECTLY done. by far the best.

    keep it up

  • This one is really authentic. Even down to the terrible acting in the actual movie. "Baby face bambino? The gangster?" lol

  • terrible acting in clerks? yeah fuck you

  • But that's what made the movie FUCKING GREAT.

  • how did you do the split screen so well? what software did you use? by the way, i saw your funny faces thing and I though you were a talentless fuckface, but your videos are awesome, your a great actor, big props to you man

  • He might use Final Cut Pro for the Mac, as that editor can do almost anything, including split screens (that's what I use).

    A little practice makes perfect!

  • man, that was one of your best reenactments, i really got into. I felt like i was watching the actual movie rather then a reenactment.

  • omg hands down the best reenactment ever! i love this movie and you did great!!!!!!

  • comment # 882 hardesty.. (you the man) show me who ya working with!! against who's against? anyboby? really i didn't thinksooo... lol

  • CHEWBACCA!

  • seriously dude your good with accents

  • For anyone who's seen this, way to go to him on getting the soundtrack song right. Good stuff!!!

  • DUDE you sound just like randall!

  • good

  • the shadows arent going the same way... but this was still really good.

  • Wasen't jay stealing donuts in this scene?

  • agreed

  • that was awesome

  • that was well good lol, i love clerks

  • Your Randall voice was spot on ! Kudos to you !

  • your randal is good but a bit exagerated

  • randall's voice is almost perfect.

    great job man.

  • that was great haha

  • To the guy below me.. They did Clerks 2, nearly 3 years ago.

And this was great :D You're a good actor man

  • good job and ur right kevin smith is a great impact in the filmmaking industry! love ya kevin smith and good job on clerks u should do clerks 2 ahaha

  • and you should not be lazy and walk to school

  • good Randall Graves voice!

  • As always, subtleties and timing is almost dead on. Nice job.

  • Great job, but it felt like you were mocking Randal rather than impersonating him.

  • at the end instead of an apple you shoulda got some salsa and some chips and been like danadana SALSA SHARK lol i love Clerks.

  • You hit Randal dead on!

  • nice voice acting, the randal is a bit off but dante is like spot on.

  • Whoa...

I've been watching your Re-make videos, but after seeing the Monty Python one, I never thought I'd see two of you in one frame! @_@

  • nice one !!, but wheres dantes beard? lol

  • your Randal sounds rong...

but other than that,i love your vids

  • Ive seen other videos that show te same person at the same time I belive there is a program that can put two films together or something.

  • Very good, its always hard to reenact a classic but you did well there.

  • your Dante sounds more like Ben Affleck. Not even a beard. Im surprised by your lack of usual detail :p

  • Great!

  • whoooa how do u make urself at 2 places at once??

  • he has a twin

  • 3 of them

  • yeah but only 2 on the screen at one time, so i think that they filmed the roofer at another time

  • Awesome work. Only thing missing from the original were the shots of Jay stealing snack cakes.

Just caught on to your videos this year, and they're really great.

  • if hes your friend and you had known about the risk then why did you leet ur friend take the job.

  • I love how you did the special effect to acheive the signature Kevin Smith "Two-shot"

  • Its the one dude man notyoursavior78.. its quite funny u didnt notice it.. :)

    Perhapsu thought they where tripplings..

But the way notyoursavior78 - about ur name - I know Jesus is your saviour hes everyones saviour.

  • Good Reenactment, Randal was spot on even though you guys don't look like 'em at all. Props still, the acting is solid.

    What a Wookie!

  • Your Randal was spot on

  • amazing

  • You're really GOOD.

  • awesome

    killed it!!

  • Hahaha! Yussss!

    WHOAAAAA WHAT A WOOKIE!

  • u got randal's voice good, but u dont sound sarcastic enough

  • oh my god, these two voices are perfect!!!! love this one!

  • Two thumbs up!

  • This scene has always bothered me about Clerks.

Ok, so any contractor follows his heart and not his wallet when it comes to work. Fine, but I somehow suspect that the EMPIRE has sufficient power to force ANYONE to do manual slave labour.

This is Kevin Smith´s mistake, not Bradley´s,

whose performance and ingenuity remain as impressive as ever.

  • I don't think that you're quite accurate on this point.

You should recall that the characters in the story are fallible, and therefore susceptible to making mistakes.

Either way, it's a depiction of 2 men discussing something based on their own notions/ideas.

That said, fine job on the re-enacting mate.

  • Yes, I would have to agree with you. They ARE fallible characters and so on, but I was sort of comparing this scene with the rest of the film. And mostly, I think both Randall and Dante come up with pretty good arguments throughout. However, being that they are somewhat nerdy(?), having a deep, philosophical discussion of this nature, shouldn´t they then be able to come to the same conclusion that I did? In my experience, nerds are obsessive and know everything about any given subject.

  • damn this is really good

  • this one was kinda... eh the voicing was the only big problem. but the rest was extraordinary!!! like Wow. Perfect. on-spot reenactment, all the lines were right hell, you even got the costumes down-spit. Nice work. five strars. Fuck all, no prisoners.

  • you r a genius

  • Dude, how did you do that? What program did you use? Sony Vegas? If anyone knows how to do that, drop a line because i will be making videos soon...

  • he is using final cut. by apple...i think

  • man u really better become a movie star cuz like....wow awsome

  • Great job!

  • you are one talented kid

  • wow you really sound like freaking Randall lol

  • Not really. Like, he did a good job trying to do the job, but he didn't sound too much like him. Dante yes, Randal no. He still did a great job.

  • hey artie i've seen all your re-enactments and they are all brilliant . was wondering if you had ever thought of doing jay and silent bob. i'm sure a man of your talents could nail it.

    well done mate!

  • Your Randall rocks!

  • great reenactment. i still feel that the first Clerks is one of the best movies ever made. the dialog alone was worth the price of the tape rental back in 99, and the price of the Clerks X DVD.

i always thought of it as a comedy for fans of Quentin Tarrintino. he is a wiz with dialog, too.

  • awesome reenactment i love that movie and that song i got it hah TENATOUS D !!

  • its actually trey parker and matt stone

  • Its a New Jersey band named Supernova that does the song I Am Chewbacca.

  • you did their voices really well, sounded just like Dante and Randal :)

    awesome re-enactment!

  • Brilliant...felt like I was watchin the real thing...

  • you're like the frank caliendo of re-enactments.

  • is that supposed to be a compliment?

  • figure it out.

  • i'd kill to have that song on my ipod

  • you are amazing. srsly.

  • Again, very impressive.

Randall was wrong however. The Death Star was built using slave labor, wookies in particular.

  • That makes his point even more, though.

  • dude that was awesome! when are we going to get to see full metal jacket!!

  • haha that was awesome. you got the voice down.

  • Man wheres jay shoplifting

its the best part of the scene

    gr8 vid anyways

  • Your eyeline was awesome. Most trained actors can't handle an eyeline right :P

  • and hes not even looking at anyone

  • You forgot the cuts of Jay stuffing his mouth.

  • My god... you nailed the nuances PERFECTLY. Aaaand while doing it split-screen. You deserve a Dundy.

  • I could picture him being in a Kevin Smith film

  • The shadow from the bottle and the shadow from the man on the right were facing 2 different directions.

  • Lol...nice observation.

  • I'm pretty sure that's just because there are multiple overhead lights, probably nothing to do with the split screening.

  • lol!

  • WOW how the hell did he manage to make it look like 2 people were in this vid??

  • Great work!

  • you kinda sound like randel...good work guys 5*****

  • but there is only 1 guy....

  • Kevin Smith has such a good writer

  • Helluva a good job.

  • u rock man!great Randal!

  • llol better than the original

  • This is one of my favorite reenactments; Kevin Smith is a friggen genius, and you played the scene so INCREDIBLY well. ^^
