When you live in this much peace... indeed you will transition/ ascend to the highest heights. So thankful to find your sound Queen mother Abbey Lincoln. Right on time.
Personnel: Abbey Lincoln (vocals, arranger); Dave Liebman (soprano & tenor saxophones, flute); Hiromasa Suzuki (piano); Kunimitsu Inaba (acoustic bass); Al Foster (drums); James Mtume (conga, percussion).Recorded at Aoyama Victor Studio, Tokyo, Japan on June 23, 1973.
Leibman, Foster and Mtume were touring in Japan with Miles Davis and were able to make this recording date between concerts. Seems that Miles attended the session, since the back of the album shows Abbey and Miles in the studio.
You really need no dope with this music
haha maybe even no food

Tears of joy of your crossing over burn my face
As I remain Down Here Below in this place
Where ancestors spent their time creating this
Music, magic, inspiration
Rhythm, beats, drumming in my head
Telling me that Aminata Moseka has gone home
Love, light, music,
Diva JC

your all I could dream about last night,
your music rang inside my soul last night,
I heard a million of my ancestors,
I thought about life number 4,
Now im on life number 11,
and with me you will be eternally.
