So no, anything that kills a cop is not on the same level as rounds designed to go through body armor.

@RyanR3volution AR-15 is a fairly broad definition; they can be configured for a myriad of different cartridges (from 9mm to .50 beo) and setups (from pistol carbine to full-sized battle rifle). intermediate is just about any rifle round that's a few notches below something like .308/7.62. this includes .223/5.56.
the plurality of AR-15's are semi-auto because of the NFA which makes legal full-autos hard to get
