  • Does anyone know who this Laura thug from Lethbridge is? I only ask because I'm from Lethbridge.

  • @ohconservativeme h t t p : // soconorbust . wordpress . com / 2008 /01 /16 / ding- ding -dingin- this- corner/

    All about miss Lori Andreachuk

  • I love it, Ezra is pwning this woman, and all she has to say at the end is "ok".

  • damn thought police

  • "she's a thug, you're a thug, your whole company's a thug....I do not seek to convince you!"

  • "You will be wearing a burka and ill be paying for being a jew..." Priceless comedy!!!!

  • @cineasta71 comedy but not comedy. Comedic reality is more like it. His portrayal is accurate.

  • Of all videos I have seen on youtube, this one is by far the MOST entertaining. Nice work, Ezra!

  • I imagine as soon as this interview was over she wept like a baby. Anyone who has been faced with the full force of a pissed off Ezra Levant could possibly be shaken for life. The look on her face is so classic... she had completely shut down and knows any response she gives will only bring on another torrential display of indisputable fact she therefore resorts to the shortest and least provocative answer imaginable "Okay".

  • @wheelzwheela actually, I'll bet she reacted in a very minimal way to Ezra, that is until the video went viral that weekend and she started to receive feedback on her 'big brother' ways. I would bet that she has heard even harsher responses from those that she's interrogated in the past, but those "interviews" were not recorded and/or posted to youtube.com. But I will say that Ezra's responses to her Orwellian ?'s were probably some of the more thoughtful and provacative. I love you Ezra!

  • that bitch might has a very strong stomach!

  • This guy's brilliant.

  • She is not not the fascist. She is the one who later says "I was only following orders." Those who say that, deserve what they get.

  • Go Ezra go!

  • "Okay" she says. lol, brilliant!

  • I just love this video. We need more guys like Ezra. Finally I am thinking there's hope for Canada.

  • Who is John Galt?

  • As a Canadian I am embarrassed that this man is being harassed by the "human rights" thought police.

    It is absolutely disgusting.

  • I wish I could make out the sequence of these videos.

  • Unbelievable, i can't believe that this whole "meeting" even happened

  • I'm ashamed of my country that we have these Orwellian thought commissions

  • Nice!

  • Well, there goes your Order of Canada Ezra. I'll wager that the only time this vassel of pinkoism ever earned her days pay was when Ezra applied his education to her. Indeed, this is truly her 15 minutes of fame and if I had a chance I would like to turn it into 30.

  • WHAT A TREAT !!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EZRA LEVANT.

  • He has the audacity to call her a thug, who calls a woman who is sitting behind a desk a thug? who growls at a woman doing her job... oh yeah a cowardly Zionist who gets others to fight and die for his cause

  • @tdot22 Anyone who sits in judgement on the expression of the thought, knowing well that the coercive powers of the state are behind them, is a thug. If I interrogate you with a gun to your head as my ultimate source of power, I am a thug.

  • @Myndir ... Really? So where was your indignation when David Ahnekew was prosecuted for his expression of thought? where was your outrage when Ernst Zundel was charged, stripped of his citizenship and deported because of thought? Where was your outrage when David Keegstra was prosecuted and villified because of his thought? where was your sense of outrage when Malik Zulu Shabazz and George Galloway were not allowed to speak!? Spare me your hectoring, you are a hypocrite!

  • @tdot22 I was perfectly outraged. Just because you don't see something on youtube, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

  • @Myndir ... How come? If you express outrage over a principle being violated, that should be manifest in all forums, not just for Islamophobes. So when you voice your opinions defending Islamophobes but are silent vis-a-vis Holocaust deniers, or Anti-Zionists, you are hypocritical.

  • @tdot22 Thugs can't sit behind a desk? She's a thug because she has the power of the state on her behalf and can take his freedom and imprison him because he says things she doesn't like. If you don't see the thuggery there then you're simply not looking.

  • @darwinkilledgod .. Has any violence been inflicted upon Ezra Levant? I will ask you the same question that I asked another poster, where was your outrage when David Ahnekew, James Keegstra, Ernst Zundel, were also put through the same process? The law is the law if it applied to those, it should also apply to Levant, do you know who Levant reminds me of? that slimy little eloquent rich kid in school we all knew that would spread half-truths, and was a favorite among teachers but hated by peers.

  • @tdot22 Violence has been inflicted on Ezra in as much as the government threatened him with incarceration and the confiscation of his wealth. Even though the charges were dropped he's still out thousands of dollars to pay for his defense. If someone puts their hand in my wallet and takes my money knowing that I can't do anything about it because they're armed... I'd call it a thug.

I don't know who those people are. If they were investigated for their ideas I'll happily be outraged for you.

  • @darwinkilledgod Oh you will be outraged for me, but not the principle? If you are an ardent defender of free speech and freedom of expression you should be abreast of all people who have had to bear the brunt of the power of the state, and what you see happening to Levant is nowhere near the torment the mentioned individuals had to go through. Why don't you ask yourself why you don't know of them? Research their "crimes" and the punishment brought down on them and then opine.

  • @tdot22 It's hard to be genuinely outraged over three names told to you on youtube that you never heard before with no details. You're welcome to share if you like. The bottom line is, saying "other people had it worse" doesn't make me any less outraged that the Canadian government is censoring people with the power of the state. I'm not sure what you're point is. When a cop shoots an innocent person saying "the Holocaust was worse" doesn't seem like an interesting point.

  • @darwinkilledgod .. first of all NOTHING happened to Levant, he was brought before a tribunal where he was free to provide his side of the story he was allowed to film the proceedings, and then walk out. THE OTHER GENTLEMEN DID NOT HAVE THAT LUXURY, They were jailed, fined and stripped of their citizenship. Levant is celebrated for asserting his constitutional rights in the media, & that is how you know of him yet you never heard of David Ahenekew, Jim Keegstra or Ernst Zundel? Google & Opine.

  • @tdot22 Levant was FORCED to appear and did have to pay that expensive looking lawyer to his right. Something did happen to him and the fact that you can't see that is very bizarre. He also faced the prospect of being heavily fined or imprisoned. The fact that they dropped the charges is good, but doesn't erase the stress of the entire ordeal.

  • @darwinkilledgod You have not addressed the fact of David Ahnekew, Jim Keegstra, or Ernst Zundel, when you "the great defender of free speech" Google them and read what happened to them and let me know what you feel about them and how they should be now dealt with, I will agree with you, OTHERWISE THE LAW IS THE LAW YOU CANNOT APPLY IT SELECTIVELY, He should have had to bear the brunt of those people but why he didn't we can discuss once you research the other gentlemen.

  • @tdot22 The law is an abomination and violation of natural law. It shouldn't be applied at all, let alone selectively. I have no trouble believing that other people have been the victim of an aggressive state. But the idea your peddling is silly: that because other people have been the victim of a tyrannical state therefore this guy should be too... Nonsense. I had a look at David Ahnekew's case and I agree it was nonsense to detain him as well. I'm also familiar with David Irving's case.

  • This is fucking brilliant. Best expression of free speech principles ever. This entire testimony should be required reading in schools and universities.

  • This guy knows he's right and knows why. He has rational principles and is able to defend them. He knows what individual rights are and understands what freedom os speech means. He's a hero.

  • This is unbelievable. Ezra is the man!

  • Did the government take this guy to court? If so, can anyone tell me if he won?

  • @buddacafe

He won, but he still has to pay an absurd amount of money in legal fees.

  • Amazing explanation of this position in the second half of this video. Well done. It's our right to offend anyone but our freedom means also responsibility, that is, suffer the consequences of our actions.

  • It's way beyond time that somebody told the government to mind it's own fucking business.

  • Check out this video:

Ezra Levant on AM 640 Toronto

The Imam that brought the complaint is caught in a lie, and shouts like fanatic in protest to Ezra's truthful complaints. Naturally, posting comments has been disabled.

    LONG LIVE FREE SPEECH.

  • She needs to read some Voltaire

  • I'm so sick of explain myself to ppl [Not that I have to] that I just quit.

If someone calls me a Racist [for whatever political view they are trying to mold in such a way as to win their argument by calling me names] I just simply say yes I am [even though I'm really not] just to shut them up.

    Lol, works everytime!

  • GO MAN GO!!!!!!

  • This should be required viewing in high schools and colleges

  • Lol, It's hilarious how she just says "okay..." once he's done.

  • I have a man crush on you Ezra Levant.

  • he's all riled up and she's like "meh, just another day at the office"

  • This man is awesome.

Free speech is a human right.

  • LEAVE DREYFUS ALOOOOOONNNNNEEEEE! There now I feel better.

  • I would a monty python joke about the inquisition but it would seem too trite.

  • "Thugs!!" That's all that needs to be said.

  • canadians are fucking awesome

  • These Commission's are a complete farce.

Wtf would the government have them.

Let the courts decide these disputes.

    Too many PC idiots.

  • @CoolDojo9000 Great idea - the courts would have laughed the imam who filed this tripe out of court, and saddled HIM with the costs, rather than Mr. Levant.

  • He must not have gone to public school.

  • The reason you are allowed to express your opinion about this man and his words is being threatened by CHRC tribunals section 13. Cutting out a mans tougue will not remove hate from a mans heart. Did you listen to anything he said? Did you understand anything he said.

  • Speaking of censorship! One has to be tactful in approaching subjects that others are are dead set in their opinions of. Lest they be censored (by youtube or ezra himself) for being able to ask questions that that woman could not. Misuse of the word fascist by one as educated as Levant is a subversive attack against the equality that defines Canada. I apologise for contributing to conflict but Ezra you are not motivated by benevolence.

  • Since when does one have to be motivated by benevolence to exercise their right as a Canadian Citizen? . BTW there is no equality in Canada - some are more equal than others - if you are Caucasian, Christian and male you must watch your tongue, but if you are a Muslim and dark skinned you can offend Christians or Caucasians with impunity consider Little Mosque on the Prairie produced by state TV . Minority groups have more rights than majority groups. Hypocrisy - pure & simple.

  • Well I guess the jews learned long ago either its marginalize or be marginalized.

So Ezra prints cartoon... A certain number of people are influenced to have negative and perhaps dangerous precepts concering a certain group of new Canadians... Good work Ezra! Way to pick up where George W left off. Sadly Conservatives favour Immigration of the marginalized. The economy needs(!) cheap labour. Consumer markets are flooded. Dont let them out compete you! People need to feel safe!

  • It is not competition when immunity and pass go collect $200 cards are handed out to one group while the other group is consistently given a go directly to jail card - without collecting $200 for passing go. What gives ppl dangerous ideas about certain groups is the fact that they blow innocent ppl up to get their point accross.

  • This chick had no idea she was dealing with someone who had a brain, conviction, and no fear of expressing his rights as a free Canadian. I love this guy!!

  • Brilliant Ezra,different class,respect from England!!

  • levant

    hes the man!

  • What is this from???

  • Comment removed

  • To all free nations....."The very aim and end of our institutions is just this: that we may think what we like and say what we think" OWH..... or how about this..."If we don't believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don't believe in it at all."Chomsky...

  • Ezra is completely right here. In fact, if the government is supposed to protect anyone in this case, it's Ezra and HIS right to free speech. It's HIS rights that are being threatened, as opposed to this dirtbag imam's emotions (there are no rights regarding emotions)!

  • This woman is either a clueless government tool.....or SATAN !

  • Shes thinking about her paycheque.

  • Her name is Shirlene McGovern. She hadn't even read the article she's interrogating him on. She's since left the CHRC and has apparently gone into private practice.

  • Thanks for the info, SCE2AUX.

More people should know her name.

It's easier for people to avoid obtaining her services now that she's in private practice,

  • Private practice as what, a doorstop?

  • This busybody had no idea of the Mac truck that was about to run her over. Before, it was just going to the office to her cushy job, comfy chair, and intimidating any schmoe who happened to say something un-liberal. I'm sure she was freaking out by having someone resist 'her' way of thinking. That's the way it is with thought police: they just can't imagine that someone would actually not accept their bureaucratic tripe and roll over. Sort of like the Warsaw Ghetto uprising against the Nazis.

  • LOL, Oh Canada, sigh.

  • Now I know why all the Hollywood libs wanted to run to Canada when GWB was in office. They should have. They'd find a home there easy. Oh, Canada.....

  • The picture hanging between them actually speaks louder than his superb words.(the true power of art) She represents The ploughed baron landscape of the governed and controlled ..He represents nature in its glory .

    Peace

  • Good eyes

  • haha.. this is AWESOME

    ezra's the man

I love the last line by the woman - "ok."

  • Hah, I just love these videos! Ezra, you are outta control man! Give'em hell!

  • FUCK YEAH. Fav'd.

  • This man is made of so much win.

  • No. Freedom doesn't come from government, government is supposed to protect our freedom.

  • Comment removed

  • Perhaps then Mr. Levant should have his own weapons to protect his freedoms. :)

    I love America...

  • "Perhaps then Mr. Levant should have his own weapons to protect his freedoms"

    Dream on, private individual.

    :•)

  • Actually, in the USA, that's what we tend to do :)

  • Really? Is that why people go to jail for selling bongs or get charged for selling sex toys? There are great vids on here right now showing people getting their property taken by the authorities in Texas. And how 'bout that Patriot Act? Yeah we have problems here but so do you guys.

  • Did you just compare political speech to selling bongs and sex toys?

  • In the sense that they can lock you the fuck up for bullshit, yes. But if you wanna talk speech, Max Hardcore just got How many years for making dirty movies?

  • You are wrong. Ezra is absolutely right. He doesn't "pretend" anything. He has said that the state does not have the right to judge him on his motives for publishing something. The state is in the business of attending to protecting people, not harassing them.

  • If he doesn't pretend to answer to the state, then why is he answering to the state in this video, telling them why he doesn't answer to them, which is basically telling them his reasons for doing what he did, ie, answering to their demands for an explanation. If he's saying "I don't give the state the right to tell me what to do", then why is he present at this meeting at the request of the state? Obviously, he knows he HAS some answering to do.

  • He is showing up at the hearing; but he is stating that he is not allowing the state to police his thoughts. The government has no business interfering in freedom of the press. No business interfering in religious discussions, or anything philosophical. The courts should be the ONLY entities permitted to do this. He's not "pretending" anything. His showing up at the hearing just means he's going through the process, and he hopes that it ends up in court. He could just refuse to go, I suppose.

  • No - he's exposing the fact that this is abuse. The 'weapons' of the HRC aren't going to go all that far, if it ends up in court, and is exposed nationally and internationally.

  • His freedoms don't 'emanate' from anything. They're inherent. They're inalienable. Go away, you jihadi sympathizer.

  • HAHAHAHAHA

What very peculiar beliefs you have.

  • Thanks. What very fallacious beliefs you have.

  • This is hall of fame stuff to me.

  • Go Ezra, GO!!!

  • this guy has balls!!! death to the canadian human right courts eh?

  • I could watch this a million times over, this guy has some watermelon cahouns, fantastic Erza!

  • What a champion. The HRC has no argument here.

  • Brilliant oratory Ezra. You trounced that clown.

  • Citizens in western countries will ultimately lose all their freedoms if governments continue prosecuting their own citizens for "offending" minority immigrants who are, in most cases, GUESTS in their countries. This politically correct bullshit has already gone way too far. The West needs to man-up and make it clear to immigrants of all nationalities and religions that they can stay if they abide by western laws and make some effort to assimilate. But if they won't, then GET THE FUCK OUT.

  • Levant deserves a medal for his eloquent defense against the HRC and the saint-like restraint he exhibited by not telling this fascist cunt to shove her questions up her ass. The case cost him 100k in attorneys' fees and his personal freedom was put on trial by the govt at the whim of a Muslim scumbag. I can't believe there wasn't enough outrage about this to shut down the fascist HRC for good.

  • Levant was sued in a civil case filed against him by HRC in which he faced financial liability for editorial decisions at his magazine. The useless fat-ass across from him is an agent of Canada's govt and she has the authority to assess whether Levant's "intent" in publishing an article critical of Islam warrants a ruinous damages award (in addition to 100K in attorneys' fees this case cost him). And you think his behavior is unprofessional? Are you fucking kidding me? YOU DON'T GET IT FOOL.

  • This an epic takedown.

    Canada has a foolish government.

  • Bravo! Thank you, Ezra.

  • Religious absolutism endangers freedom of thought. Theo Van Gough, Geert Wilders, and Ezra Levant understand the ideals of free speech. The comission, without convening this hearing should have issued the following statement: "Even if we do not agree with what someone says, we must defend their right to say it. Thank you for your complaint. Goodbye."

  • God bless you, Ezra!!!!!

  • Ezra...you are a Canadian Hero!

  • Comment removed

  • vancosmos:

If you're highly offended, why don't you file a complaint with the Human Rights Commission?

  • Comment removed

  • Are you that dumb, or that evil? This is about BASIC RIGHTS. I have the right to free speech, you have a right to go cry. If you're offended, too fucking bad. And, Mr. Levant said nothing about Muslims in general, only those who are pushing this fascist censorship on him.

Open your mind a bit, you intolerant reject.

  • Richard Warman has won all ten of the cases he has brought before the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal (CHRT),[26] and two more have been successfully mediated after the individuals had left the neo-Nazi movement and renounced their beliefs.

ERZA REVEALS HIS EGO HERE CHECK OUT RICHARD

  • 0:50 "She's a thug, you're a thug..."

A man after my own heart.

  • lol.

  • Levant is unquestionably correct in his statements.

It really breaks my heart to know that anyone should be have to endure this show trial/nonsense. The fact that it is occurring in a Western nation is much worse.

  • Levant is the man. he is completely correct in his rights. the HRC are thugs and should have no authority to do this to anyone. the freedom of speech is a tool that individuals should always have in order to defend against tyranny, suppression of rights, and other injustices.

  • Freedom fighter!

"ok"-- from the state = pwned.

  • Yea I'm sure it's an act considering all the trouble this guy is going through and the money he's lost in legal fees.

    Fuck Islam.

  • moniz,

If I remember correctly, Levant requested that the proceeding be recorded. I'm not sure how you figure that any of this was "an act." Levant was being chased by that phony HRC and had to explain himself to that phony HRC.

  • "IVe never seen a goverment agent so quite in my life."

You can tell she is completely ashamed of herself.

  • u muslims suck..why cant you just integrate like all the others who come to canada, the blacks, europeans, asians ect.multiculturealism is a scam.not gpnna work.not over my dead body.

  • I hate fundamentalists

  • Ezra, I don't agree with your political stance on pretty much anything, but I will certainly be contributing to your defence fund and hope that you are the instrument that brings the HRCs down.

  • Message for payams79

  • God I love this guy. A modern revolutionary.

  • i love how that stupid clerk just sits there and takes the beat down. she looks tired

  • ya shes had a enough, lol after this she wanted off teh case

  • Here comes another Sizler for touch of classical push up :-)

    ww w. impex-canada.c om/files/letter-from-public-safety.pdf

Here is what Mr.Steven Harper had wrote earlier,

    ww w. impex-canada.c om/Prime-Minister-Canada.p df

We hope to see both fellas from same constituency & electorate,in International Court Justice for WAR crimes,Sooner the better I guess ;-)

But, we can't say much,as Fixhist is officially not in business yet ;-) (Joke)

  • Human Rights commissions being used by subversives. ITs beautiful to watch it develop.

  • I think its a Canada Dry Ginger Ale, very appropriate. Ezra is the man.

  • is that a heinekin that Ezra's got there?

  • canada dry...how apropos

  • "canada dry...how apropos"

Muslims threats to Freedom of Speech are coming soon to a city near you.

  • Just a thought to add here,

I hope Mr.Ezra had clearance from Govt of Canada to present himself in to legislative process of US congress, obviously it was meant to have some perspective on image or laws/rules in Canada.

Though Employees of HRC Canada have broader fraternity/immunity under UN Charter of Human rights/treaties, as well as to serve as visionary torch for Canadian house of commons to suggest, amend, include or delete any piece of legislature.

    That all.

  • Here is what Canadian Statesman Mr.Ezra said in U.S. Congress's bi-partisan human rights caucus on July 11, 2008.

"Publish annual reports shaming foreign countries for their abuses of freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Put Canada on that list, to let our government know what they're doing isn't acceptable."

Having regard to US legislative process,"Fixhist" feels moral responsibility not to comment on this issue any more.

  • It is not only that I was fascinated for Anglena's super duper role in "Might Heart".

If I may,ask President of Pakistan General Retd Pervaiz Musharraf to acknowledge bravery of Wall street Journalist Daniel Pearl.

His commitment to investigative journalism supersedes the words, spirits mentioned by President in his memoir "In the line of fire".

This independence Day August 14th 2008, We request Sitara-i-Imtiaz, which translates as the star of excellence for Daniel Pearl (Posthumous- CIVIL)

  • Perhaps Danish had to learn hard way,the treaties & laws of reciprocal implied restrictions & rights of intellectual property.

Japan has taken up danish copy right registrations from July 1st,2008,

so far Denmark didn't have any one to register their own copy & Intellectual property rights.

I Wonder! who will pay for death of 100 people due to Danish caricature product?

Never too let, I hope these danish caricatures should go away, sooner the better,I guess.

    [entry made by Fixhist/own A/C]

  • I'm just curious to know, if indeed article 43 are known & ever exercised to 43.3,Canadian Human Rights Act ( R.S., 1985, c. H-6 )

I'm really, really getting scared now. but, little bit satisfied that Ezra & Stain Mark9on Canada) have right sized HRCs of Canada.

I doubt,if a judge will entertain HRC for warrant purposes.

    Any comments?

  • Will you shut up and go away.

  • This retard should know is, copy right is for "Restriction on Depiction of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)"

Restriction applies for all fair or unfair use.

If crown doesn't take responsibility at its own motion. It will be devastation for Canada to be refused for any intervention for Canadian Intellectual property rights, by other member states of copy right treaties.

Who gives fuck to CTBT, its just a fucking treaty,if you want to take it that way.

    Friends in peace!

    Fixhist

  • A formal complaint has been lodged with Tery-Byte ,which is presently hosting ezralevant web site.

Ezra Levant website has violated terms of fair use, under ISP stated policies

"Hate literature, material in violation of copyright laws, and other illegal

    material are not permitted."

  • Jimmy & wtb975t,

You pose another example of Neocon paid rodent.

What the fudge on earth will convince you? that Danish cartoons is a bad product and reason for death of 100 people & property damage.

For sure you will never stand close to facts & understand or agree to reality of the present issues.

  • I'm a neocon paid rodent because I believe in a free society people should be allowed to express their opinions? What about the BC Civil Liberties Association? Are they neocon paid rodents? What about the man considered the architect of the Human Rights Tribunals, Alan Borovoy, who says they have gone too far and need to be shut down. Is he a paid neocon rodent too?

Get lost. You're like a Bill O'Reilly of the left, what's sad is you don't realize it.

  • Yeh! Tell me about "Bill O'Reilly", who would shut up the kid of a 911 martyr.

I'm not impressed with the efforts of anti-war commentators in north of North America.

Some one pounding like Governor Jesse Ventura is needed here to SFU these suckers, like Lunat & Stain Mark of Canada.

Did you see video of Governer with Alex Jones, Jesse had a hilarious beard with two long pony's.

    Gota go now!

  • What I'm not comfortable is debates like this one, going in back drop of mass massacre in the name of WAR on Terror.

Iraq,Afghanistan & Gaza is pounding with bombs, it needs too much of a courage to listen or appreciate pipsqueaks Styne or this Lunat.

  • Sounds like the great intellect, Officer McGovern, was duly impressed.

  • Way to go Ezra. Stand up to those moron thugs. Can't believe Canadians are that dumb. But apparently they are.
