@jorgenwdb201034 Yeah, the block was made from two Lamborghini V-8's (no idea which one) put together. Interesting if you ask me but i wouldn't say it'd be good to have such a long crankshaft...
I don't get the point of holding the car at high RPM like that. Revving it sounds good, holding it at high rpm like that with no load, doesn't sound good.
Hummmmm, he may be the builder of this fine machine, but he's not the engine-builder i will wager, --as running-up an engine excessively is not a smart thing to be doing; --a motor needs to be working against some manner of load, -otherwise it is rather thrashing itself apart...!!
@AryanKnight what exactly is "thrashing itself???" as a rule, an engine at off idle rpms is generating better oil pressure and the mating parts run smother against each other. The fact that there is no load on the engine means that less heat(btu's) is being generated; less cylinder pressure means less piston ring-to-wall pressure, less pressure on the bearings (which have oil pressure). and he's not really revving "the piss" out of it either. 3, 4 thousand rpm's maybe?
@dinero747 you can add 16 if you had the time and money and skills. ITB's with a small turbo on each;) It wouldnt be practical at all though, but would have insane power, and response.
hahaha funny how he pushes, I would really dont do it but with the money that he has, he can do it when he want. If the engine breakes you build it again. If I had that money I would do the same. If the man wasnt like this you wouldnt hear a CZ reving up
I think the guy in the car is actually Claudio Zampolli himself, so I think he can do whatever he wants to and probably he's just showing of like a proper italian proud of his car or even more probably giving the mortals the opportunity to have a clear audition of the engine because on the road they would hear it for like 5 seconds, 1 as Cizeta passes by, and 4 more seconds until it's really far.
@cybertronx1701 Actually you could argue the Diablo looks like a Cizeta... the Cizeta was first....
The Cizeta design was Gandinis first proposal for the Diablo. Lamborghini turned it down and started to modify it. Gandini sold the design to Cizeta and the V16T came out in late 1988. A year later Lamborghini presented the Diablo.

Don't worry, he won't be doing this again. I think that this is the illegal Cizeta that was confiscated by the feds in December 2009.
