We will always Honor your sons sacrifice and Remember him by name. The Virginia Chapter of Honor and Remember is ensuring that Virginia's fallen heroes are never forgotten!
I can no say enough how much you are missed at Charlie Company. Memories of you will be passed on for years to come at the drill hall. You and I will always be known as the young Marines you passed out during formation almost simultaniously! We miss you brother...thoughts of you will be with me forever and I am looking forward to the day when I reach the pearly gates and see they are safely guarded by you. God bless you brother!!!-Champion
Thank you Carolina99 for putting this together...beautifully done...hello to all of the rest of the Linn family that is remembering Karl on this day. God Bless you all, cousin Jon
I'm sorry for your loss of your son.I hope it makes you proud too like me that your son is fallen for the your nation.I got that page from the ASWL.Its a very good tribute and I'm sure it makes him proud.
I couldn't finish watching this video. I'm at work right now, and am fighting back tears . . . people will wonder what in the world is wrong with me! I can't imagine what it is like to lose a son. I have two baby boys of my own (1.5 years old and 5 weeks old). God bless this soldier and his family as well as the others who died alongside him. "They were a wall unto us both by night and day . . ." (1st Samuel 15:16).
Karl,Christopher,Jonathan and Jesse, sleep well now my brothers your job is well done... now we have the watch. God Bless those that lost them, may your hearts someday heal.
I put this video together for my friend, Mr. Linn, on the second anniversary of his son's death. I pray it honors Karl and does justice to his memory.
Dear Sir, I am so sorry for your loss. You seem to have done a great job in raising your boy. I have a 3 1/2 year old myself so the pictures of your son at that age brought me immediatley to tears. I open my arms to you so that you may find peace in them. I pray to my God to ease your mind and know that your son is now among his finest angels. Thank you. -Andrew
My wife and I just watched the special report on CNN. We cried for LCpl. Linn and his parents. Our son died 5/10/05 at home. Tonight our tears are for the soldiers and their families.
In English: They are not heroes, that they wanted to also never be. They are our sons, Daughters, Brothers or sisters and they do not have it earned to be forgotten. May they in our hearts live on. We will never forget it. Rest in peace where it to also be like.
