hey have the same car, 06 model...ive looked a bunch of stuff up and Im wondering if the increased airflow with that open intake is good for the car, as the stock intake is just as good...something having to do with any filter letting more air in filters less particles in the air coming in...any thoughts?
@rtiger07 its actually very good for the car! sorry for the late reply! the micro inlet filter that comes from eurosport running allows to trap particles that could normally filter through the paper stop flyer that came with the car. BUT you CAN buy an aftermarket stock fitting filter so you don't have to buy the inane kit, but the intake kit is the best bet! The whole idea of a sport aftermarket filter is to help maintain clean airflow while allowing a slight increase in power!
Damn, I thought my B5244T was tappy, Mines quiet compared to yours, Let me ask you: When the engine is fully warmed up and you shut it off, Do you get a slight rattle as apose to when the engine is cold on shut off, It just shuts off dead with no noise... If you get what i mean. Cheers.
I have never experienced a noise when i shut off my car, whether its warmed up or cold, but ima try and look into it for you and message you back if I hear anything!
@scousebastard I have a 05' V70 2.5T. Sounds just like this. Except the filter part. It is just a tappy engine. Obviously w/ the hood closed you can barely hear it though.
@SouthernKudzu Hey man thanks for the comment! obv. with the hood closed you cant really tell but it gives it a subtle sound that shows it has horsepower but at the same time doesn't roar like a junker, as for the OEM lights you're right the lights are fine on their own, I just changed them though to HID because I have already finished the exhaust and just bought some more goodies for it, be sure to check out my new vid's coming soon! and you're right on the lenses, they'll be replaced soon too!
HiD kit 3 grand! You can get a HID kit for 180 aftermarket and put them in plug and play makes a huge differents over those blue bulbs. Give Prospec in Quincy Massachusettes a call they will also ship directly to your house
Really?? well I know the factory HID kit is three grand in Canada, but if you know a reliable distributor for HID for my V70 2.5t please feel free to message me!!

I just ordered the Eurosport Drop in filter for my car should be here by next week. Ill post up a Video of the difference between The stock paper one and the Eurosport. and Yes alot of people dont just underestimate our Volvos most people dont even know what it is.
Nice man, Eurosport is the way to go, they have a dealer in the states and in canada, fortunately near my house, so i just literally pop in and see what new things have come out for my car, Ill make some more vids of me driving in my car soon after I have done alot of work for school. Looking forward to hearing this sound, S60R volvo's can have the meanest sound...but not lawnmower sounds haha
I wish I lived by a place that does Aftermarket for Volvo's. here in Utah Everyone Has WRX, STIs, EVOs, and SRT-4s. So all the performances shops just give me a confused look either they dont know what an S60R is or man its a Volvo??! and its another reason why its been almost two weeks and the filter isnt here yet.
i already replaced all the broken stuff and its fixed so yah i have a flat black hood flat black bumper a shiney new black grill and i have new headlights with a black housing! so yah it looks soooo fresh! and today i put hid's on it and it looks sooooo frersh ill make a vid friday:)
