Can some1 tell me the 1972 and 1973 nova just bout the same ?? I know the grill is a bit different if so can u put a 70 grill on a 73 ???

@mattersalma I done my 74 exactly the same as this car, on the front everything is a simple bolt on if you have the parts from a 68-72 Nova but the rear is a little more difficult because you have to weld in a tailpanel for a 68-72 Nova. If you decide to do it use the 68-69 taipanel,tailights and rear ss panel, those look much cooler.

@mattersalma One more thing I forgot to mention is you will have to remove the gas tank and replace it with a fuel cell because the filler neck is in the wrong spot on a 73-74.On mine I cut the filler neck and installed a 2 inch hose with a 90 degree turn in it and rerouted it up into the trunk.

It is a 1973. I have a 73 as well and i'm actually doing the same thing. The bumper brackets for a 70-72 mount to the 73 front frame and rear sheet metal. It's just impossible to find remanufactured bumpers for 73 and 74 novas

For all the nova fans its a 73 look at the back window 70-72 is much smaller 73 and 74 look like this the bumpers grill all that is from a 70-72 nova come on ppl look before you speak

its a 72, bumpers from a 72 dont fit a 73, interior 72, grill 72, tail lights 72, not a 73.

Nice car but it's actually a 1970-1972 version. The 73 and 74 had the revised & flattened grille along with twin rear lights on both sides in back.

@24601guy Actually you are incorrect. It is a 73 with the 70-72 sheet metal on it. Check down a couple lines howllz bought it in Australia.
