Natural law should precede thought. The animals you know for a fact were here before humans. Therfore the beach should be closed if they are on it. Federal laws will work to who brings in the most money. Why do you think so much of natural areas are being harvested. Humans could care less about anything but themselves. And when it comes to them asking who is more important humans or animals. This is just another picture and event where humans shouldn't be allowed out of their homes.
look if they were smart people they would not be life guards...Lifeguards are either very young guys who make some mistakes and that's ok. We all make mistakes when we are young. Or we have life guards who are old...those are the retarded ones who stuck in one place in life and obviously are not smart and need to get educated. Now we have millions of people and not too many harmless seals, so lets don't harress the baby seals, if they go into water they might get killed by sharks.
If you look at the language of the Marine Mammal Protection Act, basically, once the seals move into a spot, you can't scare them away, in other words, you have to avoid the place. I am not at all sure if these seals could not go elsewhere, but forcing them to move is making an assumption they have other places to go that are just as good, and the law does not allow that assumption.
@boatbrain3 Oh because when they get ran off one beach. They can just get on their cell phones and make reservations at another beach they can get ran off of. F**k the government allowing people to even enter the same area as animals. Any friggin human that thinks they have right over animals in natural areas is wrong. Even unnatural areas humans shouldn't have rights over them. Laws of first resides here. Never seen humans win it.

@boatbrain3 Look at language.Ha. Double ha That is human laws. There are natural laws. And that should close this beach as long as these seals are on it. The can't just make a call on their cell phones asking to see if humans will allow them on another piece of earth of which is their home. You go home human. To the place where you probably ran another wild species off to build it there. Hack.

The man accompanying the lifeguard in the first scene is Kent Trego, a man who went to Federal prison for sending death threats to the seal volunteers. Some lifeguards are buddies with criminals.
I tried to post the website link but youtube won't let me. Google CA fish & game and go to their gov't site. Click on contact us, go to enforcement.
Hope that is of some help!!! I used to be a wildlife rehabber (now I'm taking care of my kids, but will go back to it) the Department of Fish & Game in my experience does NOT take this kind of thing lightly.
that is the law stating something that if any one that goes within the limits of a protective area will have to pay of a fine that can go above $1,000.

The thing to do would be to contact Fish & Game
