@stealthman46 Battery life is OKAY; I ended up getting an extended battery tho from Seidio. It helped dramatically. The keyboard I am using to slide my finger is called Swype. You can download the beta directly from their website if you search for it in google.

How did you get swype to work on the eris? when ive tried, its either not he right size, or the trial has run out for the beta.

@ewell77 I think someone was able to install live wallpapers on the Eris, but it was rooted, which mine is not. Looks cool tho!

You are just using the youtube app, which is not flash. Flash does work on the eris w/2.1 though. It is rather slow however.

I also have hulu running, though not well. Will post vid if interested.

Are we still going to get the OTA verizon announced that they started sending it out today and we will be getting it this week but i updated to 2.1 the way you did like 5 days ago and i want to know will i still get the OTA version of 2.1

Its called Swype. You can doenload a beta version if you sign up for it. Just google Swype.

No, that is the standard browser - now called "Internet". I love it, it is smoother than the browser on 1.5, and fixes all of the problems I had with the 1.5 browser! ie my main gripe was not being able to see the status bar while on the web cuz it took the whole screen; now you can see the bar if you just pull the page down a little more ;-)
