I love Green Day and I love this cover, but I hated that Green Day changed the message of this song. The original Working Class Hero by John Lennon was not only about the people in the countries of Darfur or Congo (African) It was about every government in general. The US gov, the UK gov, every government! And Green Day makes it seem like the only countries that do this are the African countries.
