hey when i go onto iMovie, and plug in the camera, the loading bar and all the clips on the camera dont pop up. any suggestions

the name of the program is iMovie '08. Available on apple's line of computers and laptops, and also in the iLife suite.

when i try straight to utube it says the server is unavailable, please help

you tried uploading straight from iMovie? If so, why not try exporting it as a medium sized movie. And upload through your browser via youtube uploader.
