  • jajajajajaja calidad!!! =)

  • I WANT TO LIVE LIKE THAT.................... :-D I own the complete Tati collection on DVD and i can only reccomend it. The movies are warm, witty, sarcastic, elegant and very very funny. Rowan Atkinsin has admitted that Mr. Bean is a close relative to Mr. Hulot

  • @ovemunk Hulot wasn't silly, arrogant and self centered though. He was just a an old French dude stuck in a time that he didn't belong to.

  • @steveski74 I quite agree but the comparison with Mr. Bean was more that both caracters actually are boys that never grew up. Tati and Atkinson just focussed on different aspects of kids behaviour. Tati focussed on the innocent, curious and playfull where Atkinson focus on the selfish.

  • Very simple but very clever.

  • @thiswilldoblue I assure you it isn't simple. Every scene is full of immense detail. Tati spent an entire year just to make the sound of this film alone.

  • I just L-O-V-E this!!! Thank you for sharing the Tati video (clip)! Stayed at a similar hotel in Venice (Italy) years ago...!

  • My compliments to the set designers.

  • This is so lovely...

  • Está la casa como para encontrar la puerta borracho.

  • :) nice

  • Sheer brilliance :D Thanks for posting this gem!

  • Oops, forgot my keys.

  • Tati is nothing short of a genius. His films are fun, innocent, thrilling, magical, and contemplative. In particular, Mon Oncle is about the juxtaposition of the traditional, friendly, old world and the impersonal, extravagant, new world. Unfortunately, the new world wins, and Play Time is about M. Hulot's struggle to assimilate into such a technological, detached society. Both PlayTime and Mon Oncle are film perfection at its core. Tati knows how to paint the screen with wondrous imagery.

  • Thank you so much for posting this - knew it was from a Tati film, but didn't know which before now. Have wanted to see that again for years. Thanks.

  • @echo680 You're quite welcome :)

  • Could this famous house be the inspiration for Phillipe Starck to design his 75 Portland condo complex in Toronto?

  • Gorgeous...absolutely...c'est la France, bien sur!

  • Adoro este filme. É inesquecível!

  • jacques tati ele muito bom né
