  • im an aquarium newb and I gots a question for ya..........how do you go about cleaning out your tank with so many fish in there? is it possible to have good filtration where you DON'T need to clean out the tank? Enlighten me.............

  • @BelieverOrDisciple all you need is water change (about 25%) since there is plants it's not a good a idea to clean the gravel because the plants need the bacteria and when you do water changes, fish are not dumb and would go into the thing you are using to clean. I have the same size tank with plants but different fish so just my thought

  • Awsome set up man.

  • Is this tank not overstocked??

How often do you carry out water changes etc?

what sort of filter are you using?

I overstocked (in my oppinion) my 125l tank and have now bought a 20l tank to move a few fish over but have had some water quality issues. Am considering a second filter combined with minimal feeding and a weekly water change.

Do you hae any of these issues at all?

    thanks

  • are those mollies

  • What are those orange long tail fish and where do you get them.

  • orange much?

  • Love this tank for freshwater excellent

  • Great tank bud!

  • Great job of setting up your aquarium. Lots of happy fish

  • Very nice set up.

  • WHat kinda of filteration system do you use?

  • It's wonderful What kind of videos camera did you use? I used a Flip Videos Recorder but don't get sharp videos like this! Wow!

  • really amazing tank! :) i want one but it's alot of work!

  • Reminds me of fish tycoon

  • Nice tank!

I'm guessing your favorite color is orange?

    :)

  • It's a beautiful aquarium but you need something to break up all that orange and yellow.... put a large school of neons in there or some blue dwarf gouramies.

  • VERY BEUTIFUL

  • I'd say you have too many fish in a 55 gallon aquarium. I have building wooden stands and installing/maintaining aquariums professionally since 2003.

  • I really like your tank! I've never been a fan of livebearers, but I am partial to the Swordtails and the color variants you chose (marigold and pineapple). I love the black background and substrate. It makes the colors of your fish really pop.

  • dude you wast a 55 gallon with liver bears get some pacu oscars bichir that will make that tank better

  • omg cool

  • bellissimo complimenti

  • Nice (;

  • love that background

  • Love all the plants. Very relaxing to look at. Makes you feel as if you're a healthy fish yourself swimming around a lush lake.

  • Is a 55 gallon tank too small for clown loaches? Just wondering because I might get some for my 55 gallon. :)

  • @AussieJosh1996 not at all. how many?

  • @hiddenThecakeisalie

I was thinking probably 2 with a few Tetras and Danios?

  • loving your aquarium :) and your breed of fish if you want more breed of fish check out MYBFF My best friend fish

  • very nice and clean aquarium..well maintained..would like to know how you have created the background.pls let me know...it looks very nice..

  • Very nice! Clean and healtly looking. I like your choices of background gravel and rock.. Very nicely laid out.

  • really nice!

  • those fish are boring, check out my tank. its full of killers

  • Thats a really nice tank. All the ornaments and plants are really well placed.

  • to many fish

  • @progo1234 nahh

  • Lovely tank, quite populated but looks perfect :D

  • You've got a wonderful aquarium! I love the colourful fish. :) I used to have Swordtails myself and they bred like crazy!

  • How did you make that like river rock cave on the left side if the tank I really like it:)

  • Your aquarium is very nice. Compliments. You can see my aquarium in "Acquario pesci tropicali - VINCENZO IANNI". Ciao. Vincenzo.

  • @mrblake421 55

  • check out mine please :)

  • do your fish ever have to many babies

  • I was looking at some of the comments and some people said they have snails in their tank do they mean actual snails that you can find outside??????

  • @EsELoCo316 no they have a special tank at the petsmart i go to with snails in them but BEWARE!!! female snails, when pregnant give birth to tons and tons and tons of babys so i would get a male

  • just amagine feeding time o.0

  • very very nice tank... I hope you didn't buy all of those swordtails

  • You are going to end up with so many babies.

I had 4 mollies in a 10 gallon tank when I was younger. The second night I had them I woke up to babies.

I ended up with a 55 gallon tank and more mollies then I could count.

  • nice but I think you should have a bit more variety rather than guppies, swordtails and clown loaches.. nice tank though lol

  • nice plants and driftwood but seriously get rid of the swordy's

  • Comment removed

  • what kind of swordtails do you have in there?

  • i can see that your livebearers are living up to their names!

    haha

  • Looks like the tank is packed with fish. Pretty cool. Must have an excellent filter system.

  • Can any1 tell me how many fish can you get in a 20 galleon tank???

  • @rangersunited experts say one inch of fish per gallon. Hope this helps :)

  • It's fish heaven in there. Great tank!

  • my dog approves of your tank

  • why not get a variety of fish species for your tank

  • 30 gallons you can have at least 20 fish or more

  • thats 1 sick aquariumn you decorated

  • im just starting my tank i have 2 pairs of swordtails 1 pair are the marigolds and i forget exactly what the other breed is but its somthing like candy corn or candy cane, all i can remember is the word candy is in there name

  • lame

  • how do u keep ur tank so clean? plz reply on my channel

  • it's a nice tank but i thing mine is a bit overtocked and it is not as stocked as yours

  • great color scheme

  • Lovely. Very relaxing to watch. I've only got one fish so far a common goldfish in a pond. Hope to add more soon.

  • The color combinations are great

  • nice 55 gallon tank bro i have a 55 also but i keep having problems with mine ive had it for a lil over a mont but my water is a bit cloudy still is it cause its going trough its cyclyng stage

  • your tank rocks

  • looks a bit overstocked if you ask me

  • @nexzabuza

really hey??? how many for a 30 gallon tank??\

  • is it ok for me to have 4 swordtails and 6 guppies in a 20 gallon tank?

  • yeah, should be just fine.. watch out for breeding though they can babyboom it out real quick.

  • I got a yoyo Botia loach and it kept the snail population down, but now there are no snails left to eat the algae. I love your tank, btw. Have I already told you that? Well, I am the redundant queen of redundancy, so I love your tank!

  • really nice

  • A simple stationary should would have been nicer than the jerky pans, love the clown loaches though. They do a great job of keeping the snail population down.

  • NICE SETUP! love the swordtails! ad clown loaches!

  • Did you add a little bit of salt for your swordtails?

  • Do you know how to get rid of snails? A couple were on my plants when I got them and now there are a thousand! I would like to get rid of them without any chemicals. . . but I don't know any other methods to get rid of them.

  • Well first of all how big is your tank. If its over 10 gallon you could add some catfish like featherfins or upsidedown catfish who would make quick work of the snails

  • yhh stick one leaf of lettuce dats all you doo

  • @winterwolf100 Get some yoyo loaches.

  • hey nice fish!! i just gotta horseface loach he/shes in my baby tank check it out i heard theyre kinda rare and thats the 1st i saw 1 to buy so i did lol also have to baby clown loaches

  • Can you give the measure of an aquarium?

  • what do u want help with e setup or how to take care of the angle fish

  • how do u clean this huge tank lol

  • i love your tank set up. could you help me if i got a 25 - 35 gallon tank would i be able to keep 2 angelfish(not breeding pair) and a few harlequin rasboras and neon tetras? thanks for your help ppl :-)

  • i want your tank!!! and my guppy is glowing a purple on its body. what up with that and its under a normal light

  • nice tank im going to set my new one up soon....with real fish sunfish, perch, bass, catfish.

  • Nice tank, everyone is going about their business.

  • nice tank

  • OMG your tank is what mine wants to look like lmao......That is a very nice setup. Check mine out.

  • looks great!

  • nice men!!

  • Nice aquarium!

  • im not going to tell u how to run ur tank, but i think... about 25 neon tetras would look good in ur tank.

  • you should get a 200 gal tank its much bigger i only got a 100 gal but still if you want a challenge get a 200 gal tank

  • Lovely tank guy...

  • nice tank! looks bigger than my 55 gallon for some reason.

  • nice plant variety, good visual depth

  • nice aquarium !

    I like it

    =D

  • This is like my dream tropical tank. How did you get your livebearers so happy? Is it because there are so many?

The ones I always got just tried to get out of the tank all the time or either chased each other around and beat each other up.

And the water perimeters were perfect. I'm thinking maybe its because, like african cichlids, maybe you should have a lot in there to calm the aggression???

    Beautiful tank!

  • if urs are fighting that means u need more or u got the ratio off it should be one male to every 2 females. get a lot of mixtures and u will be okay.

african chilids are mean fish overall. to keep them calm, get a lot of chiclids and all around the same size. the reason to have so many is to not let the fish have enough time to gain a territory.

  • Nice tank i think you should get clownloaches!

  • do you think i could keep

    2 angels

    7 danios

    2 dwarf gouramis

    4 corys

    in a 55 gallon?

  • yes m8.

  • definately. you may even be able to add a few more cories

  • @cichlidkeeper89 well if thats all your going to keep in there or else they will be cramped

  • @cichlidkeeper89 yes definitely.

  • @cichlidkeeper89 i do as liong as the angels arent long finned

  • @cichlidkeeper89 possible, provided the 55 is a tall tank to accomodate the angels

  • @cichlidkeeper89 yes you can.

  • @cichlidkeeper89 check out mine :)

  • @cichlidkeeper89 Thats fine, you could up the danios count to 10. (I'm assuming that they are zebras, or any variety of zebra danio)

  • @cichlidkeeper89 I am a guppy breeder so you should trust my answer. Yes, you wouldn't be overstocking and all get along

  • @Shayna6278 well, i have a ? for you.lol my 55 currently has 1-angelfish, 1-moonlight gourami, 7 giant danios and 4 rasboras. my water is pristine. can i add anymore fish to my setup? i want to make the school of rasboras bigger like....9...you know...just a nice sized school...do you think that i can add the other 5? or am i pushing it with my bio load?

  • @cichlidkeeper89 I'm pretty sure you could add the other five, but if the pH gets too high or alot of algae starts to grow, I would get rid of a few. Maybe 7 is good

  • @cichlidkeeper89 the danios won't do well with the angels.

  • @too881 ive had them in for a year now. the angel is full grown and does well with the danios....could be cause theyre giant danios not zebras.

  • @cichlidkeeper89 Yes Easily

  • @cichlidkeeper89 yep you can have a inch of a fish per gallon estimate

  • @cichlidkeeper89 sure yo u can....

  • Guys please help!! I have this cave like thing but my fish won't go in!!

I know it takes time but maybe there's something preventing them too?

(Don't worry, they're not too big)

  • check out aquarium contest part 1!

then vote after you saw all 3 videos!

    with 4 aquariums

    (part 1 has 2 aquariums)

  • omg this is a really really nice aquarium you've got there!(:

  • lol thought it was a screen saver ...anyway nice aquarium :D

  • Yeah, keep the clowns, put some angels /discus in there! I would be awesome!

  • What's that black thing attached to the back wall near the top left? Is it part of your filter system? It looks like you have plants growing through it.

  • it looks like a spray bar dood

  • I think its the pipe that sucks in water using a small magnet propeller in the bottom and brings it to the filter and back out the small little waterfall you hear in the background.

  • Ah.

  • I love the black gravel

you shouldn't be wasting this setup on some sword tails, you should have some discus dude

  • I usually have problems in water treatment plants. whether you use the Co2 supply?

  • you must be rich!

how much did this all cost?

  • WTF? Where do you live, Singapore?

  • me?

  • wow nice tank!

  • very nice set up you have there, great work.

  • incrediboy

  • Cool tank setup, have any of them had offspring?

  • wow this is cool

do you go by a stocking rule cuz it looks more better and fuller when its alot of fish

  • do u think a aquaclear 50 would be good for a 50 gallon and what kind of a background do u have?

  • this is so fucking awesome! i love ur tank. How do u keep i so clean?

  • lol... too much of them... crap

  • release a largemouth bass in there and see how fast they dissappear

  • LMAO. Thats so mean.

  • haha ttly

  • so many sword tails lol.

  • amazing tank!!! nice imaginations

  • Very nice tank you got there hehe:)

  • looks a little crowded, but still a nice tank
