1. I wouldn't necessarily use "everyone" when referring to 20 people compared to 9,000 people.

2. Those 20 people (may be a bit more, might not be) are mad because they got "blocked" by him. It's really childish if you ask me. Especially considering they don't take the mature route by asking him what they did to get blocked by him, how to fix it, and to undo the block. It's quite sad if you think about it.
