  • @calebdrowell22 thats exactly what I was wondering when I saw this!

  • @calebdrowell22 make it from a coat hanger

  • isnt that just 60fps then doubled frames?

  • @masteircheef

If you record 120 frames in one second, and play it at 60fps, you would get a 2 second clip. So yeah, you're kinda right, you just got the concept wrong.

  • @DeeHawkDK yeah i posted that before i found out it actually does record 120 fps, i thought it only went up to 60, also if you record 120 then drop it down to 30 then you get even longer :p youtube's player only supports 30 so that would be the smart thing to do haha

  • I know what I'm buying with my MacBook Pro... Video fun here I come wooo

  • If you guys are interested in some great editing software, check out highlight hunter.com. Highlight hunter can find all the highlights from the day's footage in seconds. It's pretty sweet

  • If you throw the footage in After Effects you can time remap it to even more extreme slo-mo and it looks awesome. :)

  • Which program did you use ?

  • он плюётся

  • nice video check out my version of the go pro hero 2's slow motion at 120 fps

  • why no hd?

  • @idylan3i because when you shot at 120 fps the camera switches to wvga which is a lower quality

  • You should check out Twixtor. Takes Slow Motion to a higher level!

  • Why not post it in HD?

  • @urban734 120fps is captured at WVGA so it's 800 x 480... This is about as good as it looks

  • @TheWickedLost was that pool in Kississime Florida??

  • 1:22 never ending water!!!

  • Sure, it's slow, but this is running at something like 10fps. You should keep it at 24-30 fps.

  • This is what I was planning on using the HD Hero 2 for, I just didn't know how 120 FPS would look... Now I do, and I REALLY need (Aka want... :)) the Camera... Thanks for posting!

  • looks like your dog swallowed the ball

  • Hi I have a GoPro HD Hero 2 and wondering what to do in order to play slow motion

  • @crossgangster I have a tutorial on my channel.

  • @crossgangster best way is to open it with a program called cinema tools, open it up and just go to the tab convert > framerate 24fps, boom done you dont even need to export it, it just converts the original. When you use the method suggested by Thewickedlost then you get mad ugly stuttering and it takes way too long.

  • the bubble thing is awesome!!

  • @2:38 this is sparta !

  • 2:38 - THIS IS SPARTAAA

  • Have you been using frame blending?

  • JUST GORGOUSE ANIMAL YOU HAVE LOVE HIM WELL HE LASTS. GOD BLESS YOU. PS... THIS IS COMING FROM A TWELVE YEAR OLD

  • the dog definitely swallowed the ball whole

  • Which is the max resolution at 120 fps?

  • Quality looks horrible.

  • With wich program do you do this?

  • that dog just made the footwork for a heelflip

  • Comment removed

  • yeah upload it 360p ! NICE! ♥

  • a bit jolty, but hey, it's better than the first go pro! nice video :)

  • love dhose dogs

  • And its water proof where can I get one, and how much

  • Everything is badass in slomo

  • Gulp!

  • Did you slow it down 2 times or 4 times??

  • @TheIhre Actually, these shots are about 8 times

  • @TheWickedLost how many % is that? and did you use iMovie for this movie or what did you use?

  • can you do slow mo with iMovie??

  • @TheIhre Yes, you can get pretty decent results. Check out my website for a tutorial.

  • OMG HE ATE IT

  • I need to do this with my dog. I like how his feet leave the ground after he catches the ball. Nice work!

  • can i also buy just the cam or must i buy the whole set?

  • @speedcontrol21 You can buy just the cam, but I recommend the lcd viewer, makes framing so much easier.

  • @TheWickedLost but i cant nowhere find tu buy just the hero hd 2 cam...just with the set...where can i find this?

  • @TheWickedLost I have the 960 should I upgrade or not Ive only had it for 5 months now but im craving this 1

  • 2:30 oga

  • 2:37 THIS IS SPARTA!!!

  • that bubble is HUUUUUUGE!!! hahaha

  • nice split :D

  • what do you have for a program to edit videos for the GoPro.?

    I Don`t know.^^

  • Sick vid man!

  • Looks like the dog is going to swallow the ball at first o.o

  • can you do the slo mo in moviemaker? it looks awesome

  • @redmandan55 Not sure. Never used Moviemaker

  • @TheWickedLost You make a clip half speed or double speed in Moviemaker. So in theory you can do slow motion, as long as Moviemaker will read the file.

  • @redmandan55 if you use the Gopro software and convert it to 30fps, yes you can import it into movie maker. I've tried both MPEG Streamclip and the GoPro Cineform Studio, and this is just my preference, but I really prefer the Cineform studio better, mainly because of the batch conversion. Hope this helps!

  • very cool :)

  • Great test, excellent subject matter!

  • Do you think the gopro 2 is worth the extra money ?

  • the reason it doesnt look as good we hoped is because you messed it up when you exported it :/

  • @AirTimeEh This weekend I figured out, that you sir are correct.

  • slow it down by CONFORMING it to a lower framerate, 30,24

  • its great! does the 120fps works in 1080p?

  • @MatDaveShow no, it's something like 848x480

  • @TheWickedLost and is it still HD ? i mean can you shoot 120fps and have a great image quality?

  • @MatDaveShow it looks great. I'm not positive, but it looks like it is still shooting at 11 megapixels in 120fps mode.

  • @TheWickedLost oh ok, thanks:) oh and can you do such slow motion clips using iMovie ?

  • @MatDaveShow Yes. You have to convert the clip to jpegs first, then import them into imovie. Tutorial is coming soon.

  • @TheWickedLost Cool! thanks a lot! i subscribed to make sure i see your tutorial :)

  • @MatDaveShow the hero2 only shoots 120fps in standard definition at 480p so no where near 720 or 1080. Hope this helps.

  • @MatDaveShow its confusing a bit but its still shooting at 11 megapixels-the camera is always 11mp. its just not HD which is considered 720, 960 and 1080p. the 120 fps is at WVGA which is standard quality cause if it was 120 fps at 1080: number one, it would use way to much memory and number 2 class 10 high speed sd cards would not ba able to compute all that memory at once.

  • WOW. The huge bubbles look awwwesome.

  • guessing you live down south somewhere based on your covered pool room.

  • @tietie1424 Good guess. Dunedin, Florida

  • @TheWickedLost thanks! my grandparents live in Montgomery AL, and just about everyone who has a pool has a cover over it because of the stupid bugs down there.

  • that dog's wiener moved up and down in slow motion

  • @1408wake hahahahahahaha

  • 1:08 is really cool!!
