@jeniferex Hi Jeannette! Thank you for your kind comment! I wish you all the very best with your performance. I would not recommend buying a cockatiel for the purposes of a performance. They are after all living animals, and need the proper care and attention, and taming one like Cheeky would take lots of time, devotion and patience. Also, although he's rarely ever in his cage, I would never let him out in a public space, as he would be scared. Cockatiels are very timid. Hope that helps! :-)

It is only the Marshall that you're hearing - if I want more gain, I just stamp on the compressor, which gives a tiny bit of added sustain, but not much. It's pretty bare bones for this video! As for my strings, I'm just using regular 0.10s (D'Addario). Hope that helps! :-)

@tankbrute6 Thanks so much, Nick! I'm using a Marshall DSL-50 to get those tones. Glad you liked it! That amp is generally impossible, and works only with one exact setting, otherwise it sounds way too bright for me! Once it's set, no one is allowed near it! Lol. When's your next video?
