The americans wanted to end the war early because, it would cost a lot in a world of depression, Russia could have taken over Japan and turn it into a communist state (which would turn other asian countries under Japanese custody into communists), and the death toll would just rise.

Everyone hated anyone opposing each other because of fear and propaganda. Since there is no anti-Iraq propaganda, I don't see people hating on innocent Iraq citizens. Propaganda brainwashes and I hate the media.

No country deserves war, no one deserves an early death, and no one deserves nuclear bombings. I will say this now, Japan didn't deserve a nuke, what it deserved was a better and smarter leader that should have had Japan stay neutral instead of joining Germany.

It was a tense and stressful moment for the Americans and Japanese. I don't hold grudges for the nuke, they did what they had to as an option. I'm not emotional over the past. What I was saying is that nukes aren't a laughing matter.
