General Petraeus (my old division commander) has put Iraq back in order; and, because of the troop surge, we'll be able to leave sooner. Now our troops can leave with the honor that they improved the lives of millions, and defeated terrorism in the process.

Don't heroes live? I find it ironic that they call Pat Tillman a hero when the idiot stood up in the middle of a gun battle and got hosed by his own troops. Then they give him a posthumus promotion in rank like he really gives a hoot now.

dude i think your right. our troops are all good men and women. god bless them all.
but our president, and government is using them for a lost cause. Iraq was a blowout, we did nothing more than capture Saddam and screw up their government, and probably inspire more terrorists to hate us.
GOd bless all of the soldiers. I still respect them and love them for fighting for us. I think you guys miss understood what mohican was trying to say.
