yeay tengu is cheap, 450m the ship+subsystems additionly u need a pith b type small booster(about 120m) some faction hardeners(45m) and 3 cn bcus (4*80m) and an faction AB(30m)

t2 launchers/TP/boost amplis come for another 10m

so you go off with 975m, so u have the money back missioning 33h assuming you make 30m/h(what u will do without looting/salvaging just with bountys)

According to EFT you're getting around 500 dps with scourge furies, a T2 drake could match that. You're also ridiculously overtanked. If you use an afterburner, switch to HAMs and use the augmented cap resevior for the extra launcher hardpoint you can reach almost 800 dps and even fit a target painter/flare rigs while still tanking fine.

videos like these are so pathetic... each ship does like 5-40 dps <.< lv 4 missions are nothing. i cant speed tank them in a caracal. try tanking it againts one of my ships and ill show you how good it is :)

If you wanna do lvl IV's fast then hop into a CNR or Golem.

Vargur beats every non-capital out there for lvl 4's. (I fly ´em all. so it's first hand knowledge.)

Also, Vargur is great but it really depends on where you mission.

the stacking penalty for BCS make the last one add less than 5% of it's ability if i remember correctly.

actually it's 28%, and 28% of 1.10^2 is still a considerable amount, specially considering any extra tanking modules, such as a PDU, will be a waste of time as this thing is already WAY over tanked.

I generally wouldn't care about the cost of mods on a billion+ isk ship.

Considering it's an L4, the amount of isk you spend on your ship is a factor, assuming you want to make money from it.

For a billion isk you can get and faction fit a CNR. Which gives you the firepower to pop bs rats faster then the Tengu's heavy launchers (unless I'm missing a massive damge bonus). In lvl4s, CNR > Tengu

I've raced a golem in a few missions with this tengu, and the tengu was faster. The damage bonuses are much better than the raven(There on the subsystem), and the launcher speed is stupid. But also with it using heavies it can shread frigs and cruisers far faster.
