The camera was a Aptek 1080. It is a very good camera for just $180. But it only records in .MOV which I found out is not supported by windows movie maker. And to convert to avi or wmv it takes forever! So I got a new one that outputs in Mpeg. (samsung SC-DC173) It is more expensive at $270 but I just don't want the hassle of converting before editing.
