What makes that unrealistic is the fact that they portrayed the explosion of an M67 grenade as some sort of napalm show. It's a frag grenade; I repeat, a frag grenade. It's a fragmentation grenade. All it would've done is make a large-sized, beefy smoke explosion that'd kill merely a minority of the creatures.

This movie made me never ever be violent. This scene makes me sick when I see how violent these creatures are.. This movie is like a metaphore. You know there are immune people and infected. She turned on these bright ass lights and that got rid of most of the monsters and yeah, they ended up staying with eachother for a while but when she was taking him home, im not sure what she did wrong that cause the monsters to follllow them home, thats what led to this scene. i hope this makes sense. lol

In the movie he explains that only 10% of the human population is immune to the virus and the 90% got infected. Animals got infected too but Sam the dog was immune to the airborne virus but not to direct contact with it.

the butterfly in the very beginning on the glass and the tattoo of the butterfly on Anna's neck made WS believe that Anna's and Ethan's life is worth more than his, so his legend (the cure) lived on but he himself didn't...it's such a great movie. Never have i liked this movie as much as watchmen, the hangover, and funny people, but this is incredible

The one thing that bothered me is that I don't understand why the Dark Seekers were in CG, it made them seem like a whole other creature rather than the intended infected rabid humans.

They could of easily been done with actors in make-up to give it them a raw and authentic feel instead of just flexing the films budget.

On my disc I have an alternate ending, he asks to go out with the cured girl, and so Anna let's him out. The leader took the girl away and asked to leave them alone. And at the end, Will Anna and Ethan went to the colony together. It's much of a better ending tho. This one.
