What memories this vid brings back! I was an AVROC in class 447 the summer of '74. SSGT E. M. Penn is the DI. Some names you never forget. He wasn't quite so calm back in the day, at least that was my perception as his smokey-the-bear hat was banging my forehead and his spittle was spraying my cheek! My crime? Wiping the sweat from my nose one 99 degree humid summer afternoon in P'cola while standing in formation. Ah, the good old days... Thanks a million for posting!
The last time I watched that film I was on my way to becoming a Naval Flight Officer Candidate in 1978 into class 01-79. Now I am Captain, USNR (Ret). Not only were the lessons taught there germane to Naval Aviation, they were just as much germane to success in life in general.
Haven't seen this since '76. Sure brings back fond memories. Now flying a 747. Where did the years go?
