@Mithcoriel Mûmak is the "noble tongue"-word for oliphaunt, which is just an archaic word/alternate spelling for elephant; I can't remember the name of the language, but I'm pretty sure it's not an elvish tongue, since it handles plurals differently. Mûmakil is the plural for mûmak, but though I'm no expert on Tolkien's artificial languages, the elvish ones seem to handle plural with an "-r"-suffix.

nope. in the book, it's both mumak, mumakil and oliphaunt.
