  • Very nice rendition of this lovely tune.

  • very nice

  • trying to get the tabs but the link doesn't work. could you check it please :-)

  • There ya go. That should work now.

  • Thanks... excuse the newbee question but, do I just keep playing the same score over the 3 verses? or is there more to it than that?

  • thanks for posting the chords, great help!

What guitar ya playin'? Is it Washburn? Just curious, I have a WD18SW.

  • Thats my 1959 Gibson J-50. I like it very much.

  • Great job on the song, tt sounds perfect! Do you have a capo on the 1st fret?

I also would be interested in your pick pattern for the song, if it wouldn't be much trouble.

  • Thanks! I need to start practicing this one again. No capo, but the guitar may not be tuned to standard pitch. The pattern, for the most part, is thumb and ring together followed by index, middle, ring. If the chord is held an additional two beats, I hold the ring finger note an extra half beat and then play the middle, index, and thumb.

Hope that helps. If I get a chance I can try to tab it out, but I will have to get some free time.

  • Thanks, I appreciate the quick response! I'll try that out.

  • can you teach me the picking on this song cus i want to play this song for church please... thx

  • Heya cuzzz, check the reply to chadnorm.

  • Thats actually pretty much it. Let me see if I can find something to generate the chord diagrams and I will post a link to them.

  • i was wondering what chords you use, i know there is a D, A, G, and Bm but i don't recognize the others.

  • Over in the info box I added a link to a tab of the chords I am using. Its really ugly, but hopefully it will help.

  • @YoppyKyabetsu

I just heard you play this song + am unable to find the cords you are using. I also know the D,A,G and Bm but don't reconize the other cords. The Info box listed from you page tells me about the song you are playing on the piano. Can you tell me how to get the cords you use for Joseph's Lullaby. Thanks

  • @walt4084

Sorry for my previous question, I just found the link + the cords. I love the song and you do a great job playing it.

    Thanks

  • @walt4084 Thanks! I was just about to comment on the tab. It is a lovely song.
