  • Manson; good singer, terrible murderer.

  • Manson is just a product of our sick society. If you don´t wish more people like him you should be thinking about changing society radically.

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • @GolliwoggMusic Golliwogg has no opinion!

  • This is good o.O

  • FREE MANSON

  • I want to live in jail, fuck the world. long live manson

  • Free Manson? Hell no. I do not respect him as a person but I love his music.

  • I love this, thanks for the upload.

  • I think its interesting that he got convicted of murder and didnt actually kill those people, I thought that was usually some other kind of offense in terms of the law. I do think its good hes in jail though!

  • while he may be a great musician, the fact still remains that he is a murderer, and all of you who say that murders from 40 years ago shouldnt matter anymore, should think of the families of the people he murdered. the lives that he ended. what if you were the son, or daughter of one of the people he had murdered? would you still think that it didnt matter that he murdered your parents because its been awhile since it happened?

  • @1093katherine i think he prefers prison at this point. but i do have to say this: he never killed anyone. his entire life. at all of his parole hearings (that he was lucid for), he hasn't requested to be released, but for the record to be changed. it's slanderous to call him a murderer.

  • @analogWeapon He was present at the La Bianca murders and even tied them up. If they were murdered by others in his gang that doesn't matter. Manson participated. By law then, Manson IS guilty of murder. Then there is the case of Gary Hinman. It is believed that Manson actually DID kill him.

  • SOMEONE FIND ME THE TAB FOR THIS SONG, NOT THE FAGGY MARILYN MANSON VERSION.

  • why did he have to kill people

  • Raoul Moat would kick his ass

  • his face in this cover looks cute lol

sick voice, sick song, sick city! awesome when he shouts 0:47

  • He is singing the truth of a wrong society today.

  • i want to shake this mans hand

  • I'll just say this: Im fond of his music, not of the person. Just because someone is a talented, does not excuse the things they may of done. Besides, the guy killed Roman Polanski's Wife and child. Just throwing that out there.

  • I dont care what other people say, I like Manson. He may have instructed people to kill others, but does anyone really care about that anymore? Some people got killed in the 60s, so what, people get killed everyday. They should let Manson out.

  • @DefLep1991 the prison is straight to my house to let him visit me

  • @DefLep1991 Do you know who he killed? He killed Roman Polanski's pregnant wife. Yea Roman Polanski, the famous director. The guy who directed Rosemary's Baby, The Ghost Writer, is his newest movie. Sharon Tate, Polanski's wife, was a beautiful celebrity making a name for herself. Manson's family stopped at the wrong house, Sharon and the others weren't suppose to be killed. I understand what your saying but, you really can't forget about them. Manson had some talent but was on the wrong path.

  • @DefLep1991 thats gotta be the stupidest comment ive ever read

  • @DefLep1991 sorry to burst your but he doesnt want out, watch his parole meetings, he tells them that the first thing he is gonna do after he gets out is someone

  • @DefLep1991 your a complete moron

  • @DefLep1991

Manson don't want to go out for sure...

He ALWAYS way on prison, like a kid was on reformatory and do sick thinks too.

I dont say id because i hate this guy, because is a true.

  • @DefLep1991 Manson has said many times that he got out, he would kill and kill untill no one was left on earth to kill! That includes you man!

  • @jackinthebox995 charles manson never killed anyone; and you seem to be taking charlie's words out of context. charles said he has the equal right to do unto others what was done unto him. i believe it was along the lines of "you lock me up, drug me, knock out my teeth, try to poison me, what do you think is gonna happen when i get out of here?"

you should ask yourself what brought you to hear charlie's music. come out of the box & see the real world sometime, jacko.

  • @DefLep1991 daft cunt give your head a shake prick people do still care you fucking tit

  • Charles Manson was not only a great musician, but was a true hero to us all

  • @scottspeaksfuckinsux May I ask how he is a hero to us all?

  • @scottspeaksfuckinsux why do you think hes a hero? hes a murderer.

  • he has a great voice!

  • Thanks for posting. Of all of Charlie's stuff that I ever heard, this is my personal favorite.

  • my mom yelled at me and gave me a lecture when she saw i was listening to this she was like he was an evil man jeremy i dont want you listening to that devils music and then i was like shut up and let me listen to the music it has nothing to due with him conducting killings and he never really killed anyone he had people do it for him

  • @34LOLWTF

that sucks man. Thats brainwash right there, ill show her the fuckin devils music, i got music BY the devil.

  • Manson's music was great and unique.

  • @prammaven ''He would have find a label' ' So if gou get labelled, become succesful and happy ? explain all the suicide's of people who got labelled and lost their Soul. Charlie is more fuckin alive even in the hole, he kicks more truth and power from his soul, while the ignorant muthafucka's live outside in the cold, and feel more miserable then a dead toad, a label is what others put on you, you feel high on becmoing a fool, have to adjust to other's rules, become dead in your third jewel
  • this is a great song

  • he could have been as big as cash or dylan, too bad he was a sociopath

  • I am a Box Car and a Jug of Wine, Im gone leavin the sick city.

  • I love this song.

  • For a serial killer he can sing. thumbs up if you agree dude

  • Asome quality man, love it :D

  • you can call me crazy but i would feel safe being in the same room with manson. i think that he has been over demonized and has been exploited by everyone. there is no evil nor good in this world just human nature.

  • wow...who ever knew.

this little acoustic diddy is more more significant than the entire careers of beyonce, jay z and nickelback combined.

  • where can i find this? online or a link to a store. anything. i dont want to keep coming to youtube to listen to his genius

  • I don't like this music but i like marilyn manson version.

but I admit he sings well.

  • my favorite song from him

  • This is a really good song. Sad..

  • @prammaven : Well, there's "serious musician", musician showman, musical entertainer, shock artist, musical comedian...find someone to represent and organize tours and marketing. Simple as dirt.

  • Give the man his fuckin' guitar back you fuckheads!!! His such a talented man,,,love his work :X

  • Such a talented man...it's a damn shame that he's serving a life sentence for crimes that he didn't FUCKING DO!!!!!

  • Such a talented man...it's a damn shame that he's serving a life sentence for crimes that he didn't FUCKING DO!!!!!

  • Manson had such a sad life, abandoned by his mother, never knew his father, living on the street, eating out of garbage dumps, and most important serving a life sentence for crimes that he didn't FUCKING DO!!!!! Such a talented man....it's a dame shame!!!!

  • great tune!!!

  • Manson's life was and is so sad, abandoned by his mother, living on the street, eating out of garbage dump,s and the most sadest thing is that his serving a life sentence for crimes he didn't FUCKING DO!!!!!! Such a talented man....it's a damn shame....

  • His laugh in the beginning is cute :)

  • love that song.

  • live and let live.

  • he did not

  • o manson love your work.

  • o manson love your work.

  • Argh, love it.. ♥

  • This doesn't sound like it's from that era.

It sounds like something later on maybe from a Jeff Buckley, musically at least,..sounds like something Jim Morrison may have penned.

I don't know what the guy did or didn't do but I can say one thing,he was/is his own man. That's a rare thing.

  • i agree, but it was the music he wrote and music that he listened to, such as helter skelter by the beatles that made him believe what he did was right, and for that he's in prison now.

sad, he did have great music. no one pays attention to that though.

  • It's a conspiracy.

  • Beautiful song.

This is Manson singing I believe.

Steve (Grogan?) sang on the Family Sings album.

  • charles manson was real

  • people killed him from the begining of his childhood...thats one of that examples how painful people can step on others mind on others life ....

  • pram speaka da' true--Marilyn Manson is one of the worst of the worst. And this song gives us a prima facie example of Charlie's thinking: he could not sit around living the usual life.

  • what he did is between him and god , but his music is between him and me , i like it and i dont feel that strange relating to it.

  • fuck you all this is good music and charles is a beast so eat a dick

  • Not my type of music, but if all these shitty emo bands can make it, Manson could have made it if he didn't get some of his followers to kill people.

  • I'm just one of those restless people.

    Can't never seem to be

    Satisfied with living.

and a sick old, sick, sick, sick old, sick city.

It may be too late for me to say goodbye.

and it may be too late to watch the sick old city die.

Gone on the road, yeah I'm 'guna try,

To say sick city so long, goodbye and die.

  • Let's see. What was we talking about? Sick City... Restless people... From the sick city. Burnt their home down, to make the sky look pretty. What can I do? I'm just a person. This is the line that we always seem to hear. You just sit and things get worse and... Watch TV and drink your beer. Walking all alone, not going anywhere. Walking all alone, nobody seems to care. Restless as the wind, this town's killing me. Got to put an end to this ruthless misery.
  • we love this ugly voice

    KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL BITCHES

  • they will never release him out of prison because he is too smart. charles manson could overthrow the government if he was set free.

  • It's sad that most people think he's a seriel killer when he isn't, but noone knows he's a great musician when there's proof of it.

  • Look at Hollywood now he had that shithole figured out so many years ago...

  • just cause he made a cult(which their is nothing wrong with or with the killings) dosnt mean he dosnt have good music

  • NO ONE should be kept from expressing themselves and their ideas through art. censorship and the denial of being human is one of the things that corrupts and pollutes society.

he is a wholly infamous criminal, but one should never take someones ability to make art. give him his fucking guitar.

  • I have to say, Charles was very insane, yes, but a great singer/song writer. He is actually very smart as well. I mean, come on, who else could brainwash people into killing people?

  • He has a good voice.

  • that was charlie man.

  • If he hadn't resorted to crime I figure he would've been one of the famous musicians of the 60's and 70's. I was stunned at how talented he was when I first heard his early music.

  • LI E Free

  • what the fuck is a "PROKING" emotion???

  • I'm always amazed at what a talented musician he is. Goes to show that talent doesn't equal destiny.

  • this is a good song. i can see why people were drawn to him. i probably would have been his friend.

  • I'd be cool if he did an album when he got out.

and fuck you if your going to hate comment me back, don't, really cause i don't feel like fighting with any one who cant leave people's opinions alone. he has a good voice, be nice if he could do something good before he dies.

  • manson was like the little devil on the shoulder of his followers so to speak.he's very intligent

  • hands fukin down we love u brother!!!51/50 HOBO ARMY & the F.T.R.A.

  • i truly love this song his voice is amazing charles manson is a great singer

  • I love this song! :)

  • Get well soon. x

  • You notice he sings "sick sick sick city" which sounds phonetically like "six-six-six" ?

    all hail kramdar the invincible

  • Oh that's Manson singing with out a doubt.

  • Is this from the LIE album? Isn't it some other guy who does the vocals on that album? I know charlie wrote the music though. It sounds like charlie but I heard him say that it was some dude named steve something that sings on that album.

  • You're thinking of another album, this one is Charlie.

  • it does say lie in big letters

  • Of course it's Charlie.

  • Its Charlie, totally.

    And yes its from LIE.

  • charlie sang onthe lie album, he did not sing onthe family jams album it was clem ake steve

  • It's Manson singing, you hear him talking at the start and his voice goes into the song...You were asking a legitimate question looking for an answer, I don't know why your comment got four thumbs down and no reply...how odd

It is the LIE album and you hear him talking between songs, it's really quite an historical landmark I think

  • @GRIMSTORMS Yeah, but I think Charlie had a very unique voice and I don't believe that a group this small could have found anything similar.

I'ts Charlie Ok. Give the man a guitar and he'll blow your mind, I have never heard anything like this before. This comes straight from the heart, no branding, no usual commercial bullshit, this is what music really sounds like.

Don't care about the (alleged) murder-thingy, this is art.

  • This is manson singing.... The Family Jams is Mansons writting but Steve grogan is singing.

  • @GRIMSTORMS I think its only on Look At Your Game, Girl, but im not sure of the guys name

  • @GRIMSTORMS no.

you refer to - 'The Manson Family Sings the Songs of Charles Manson - 1970'

which was released at around the same time as 'lie'...

charlie does the vocals on 'lie'

  • This kid was going places, like prison. so sad, so much talent.

  • such talent, but his demeanor fucked him over. he got turned down because of how extreme he was. maybe if he had waited he would have ended up like one of those rock star trainwrecks.

  • why is this comment thumbed up so much! charles manson was maybe a good musician but that does not make up for the fact that he did horrible things to people and hated others for things they couldnt help.

  • Such a talented man...it's a damn shame that he's serving a life sentence for crimes that he didn't FUCKING DO!!!!!

  • all hail lord krondor!

  • who is lord krondor and what does he have to do with charles manson?

  • Searching for a compilation album with all his released songs now...

  • A T W A

  • Despite what this man did or not did...

it s agreat tune ...he should have stayed

    with the music...

  • He did...

  • He never left music until the system used him as a scapegoat. People are responsible for their own actions, what kind of defense is 'oh but I was mind-controlled into doing it!'... at least half of the jury probably believed in the devil and that witchery was at hand ffs, and on that basis we lock up a guy for ages.

  • I love his music. He is a very talented man. so talented to stay in prison... Does he continue writing music?

  • I'm sure he does in his head.

The authorities at the prison took-away his guitar... as he said because they're control-freaking fascists, who like to feel like they're god, or something down those lines in one of his interviews.

But apparently they don't allow him to have or keep his guitar, as it would be "unfair." Seems more of a way of keeping him quiet, I think.

  • It also prolly has to do with the metal thingy. a means of escape i guess.

im assuming this was before his murders?

  • ....yeah and to prevent ppl. from recording selling&making money off of his music. Guards arent allowed to have anything that can photo, record, even get his signature b/c hes wealthy in something they call a 2nd or alt. economy or some b.s. like that. After all, money is power.

  • Such a talented man...it's a damn shame that he's serving a life sentence for crimes that he didn't FUCKING DO!!!!!

  • @TekkGnosisProduction yeah, it sucks that he got his guitar taken away, but honestly, this is Charles Effing Manson. You can't exactly trust him with anything.

  • If someone would give his guitar back I guess.

  • @Breedo : Wouldn't that be something, if Armageddon was triggered by someone with-holding a prison inmate's guitar?

  • this is good shit!!!!

  • This man is a genios I can't believe how ridiculously ignorant i was to him! I only "knew" He murdered people. That in itself isn't even true. He wont get his parole he should though. About two hours after stumbling across him online im drawn in to him.

  • WoW never knew Charlie had such great talent, thanks for posting man:)

  • i hope he gets out...

  • O.O

  • i wonder how old he is ... love to meet him

  • He was born November 12, 1934. So that makes him 74 years old now.

  • Manson wont ever be freed hes too smart and can draw a crowd the goverment puts out any flames of unrest. charlie was fucked by the long arm of the law.

  • actually i read he got out. idk if is true?

  • no, he's still in jail. he's been up for parole a few times but they're never granted it to him.

  • His next parole will be in 2012, let's see if they grant it to him.

  • 2012 is the year the world is supposed to ens O.o...see a connection?

  • @Sherap12 ya but it's his 11th time up for parole

  • @atheistunicorn they wont he wont let them he wont beable to take care of himself out of jail cause in jail he gets free room and board and free food and such he would not survive out of jail

  • @jackatak9119 What do you mean, he survived by himself before he could probably do it again.

  • @jackatak9119 Re-think your comments, As sickening as it is, Manson is a God in the underworld, and he is as famous as Oprah, or George Bush, IF he decided to go into the underworld, he would be a king, if he decided to become a celebrity, he would be a king, kindof sucks, but i know im the only one who would watch a talk show with host Charles Manson

  • @jackatak9119 its true. in one of his interviews he says that "What do you think im going to do? what you have done to me, I'm going to do to you".

He will get out and rob again. I feel for him though. I don't believe in the system we have today, so I drag myself along to conform somehwat, otherwise I'd be just like him.

  • @atheistunicorn world will a different place then so it's his best chance

  • we're comin to bust you out charlie. lol

  • amazing song

  • it's amazing how some one can be so insane yet so smart.

  • Insanity is when someone's creativity is too much for their intellect to handle.

  • agreed.

  • Hahaha to all those people who say free Charles Manson

Do you really know who he is?

But I agree this is an amazing song

  • He never really killed anyone if you think about it.

He was just a master of manipulation

  • Yeah, I think people get so taken in by his personality that they forget he's in prison for a reason.

And to the "Free Charlie" crowd, it doesn't matter if he never personally killed anyone; Hitler never personally killed any of HIS victims either, does that make him innocent?

  • Even though Hitler was an evil man, he still did great things for people that get swept under the rug. Examples: Building the Autobahn, progressing medical research, etc.

  • Yes, yes it does.

  • Amazing voice... freakin amazing... no offense but hes crazy as hell but smart as hell also...

  • watch TV and drink your beer lol

  • really his best song

  • i do concur.

  • Amazing. Free manson!

  • I'd don't know if I'd call him God......God's songs aren't that good (tee hee hee hee hee)

  • the great god, charles manson rules

  • He's really got an amazing voice...

  • I like the original by Charles Manson better but thanks. :)

  • Also listen to Marilyn Manson's cover of it!
