  • Great stuff. You're reminding me of what I already knew but forgot. I tend to have a cold body. I have chronic low agni ( digestive fire ). WHat is your point about the structure of the water, and not to boil it too much ?

  • @Gauraonline Hey Guaraonline! I'm referring to the effect that boiling water can have on the water's inherent crystalline structure. Boiled water is believed by many to not be as hydrating as water that has not been.There's also some research, done years ago, that suggests boiled water causes an immune system reaction. Many believe now that this work is outdated, but it would be cool to see someone recreate the experiments of Paul Kouchakoff. Best wishes ~ Rory :0)

  • i can see why you would peel the ginger for something like a juice, but surely you wouldn't recomend peeling it usually? the skin has so much goodness!

  • Hey TMerriam! It might leave the drink a lil' bit more bitter than if it we're peeled, but otherwise it's all good! :0)

  • very good suggestions Rory. Ginger is a staple in my raw diet. I add some honey and lemon to it.
