Sometimes life as we find it just doesn't give us the chance to make the decisions we'd "like" to make. Sure, I don't want laws telling me what to do with my dog or cat. But when we as a community have failed so miserably that literally millions of healthy happy loyal animals are killed each year simply because there aren't enough homes for them, then YES the state does have the right and the obligation to make laws that will reduce those numbers. These people who object just don't understand.
Is this guy an idiot or something? How would mandatory spay/neuter laws prevent dogs from being dogs? They will still be playful even if they can't have babies!
