Where did you get ur cx4 threaded? Did you have any trouble getting it done because most of the parts are imported? Also what optics do u use on it? Great video! I have the PX4 subcompact for my carry gun and am wanting to get a CX4 as well.

@linkinparkrocker44  It is the Beretta CX4 Storm, 9mm carbine rifle. It's set up to take the 92FS magazines and is threaded for my GemTech silencer.

How do you get a pistol threaded? Is it expensive?

@derkcloud I sent several of my barrels (22s, 9mms, 223s) to GemTech for threading. Give them a shout ahead of time and ask for their current pricing and turn around time. Mine were a little over $100 each, but keep in mind, I have multiple GemTech products. Pretty much a very good deal for a repeat customer.

My best advice for you is to make a trip to the local gun store that has a class 3 dealer. They will be able to answer questions specific to where you live.

Barring any local or State of communism laws such as in NY or California, it's relatively easy yet time consuming. A tax stamp, paid to the ATF is involved (usually about $200 per covered item). A "Form 4" transfers ownership. Chief Law enforcement sign off is required unless a corporation or Revocable Living Trust purchases the item.

Have the Beretta pistol slides come down in price at all? That was the reason I didn't buy one was because I counld'nt find a replacement slide that was priced LESS than the whole gun itself!

I went with the Ruger P-92 9mm. I'm satisfied.

@GunRunna47 I've got 4 30 round mags... two of them are ProMag, of which only one works. One 30 round mag from National was so bad I throew it out. The best functioning 30 round mag is some no name mag that I can't remember where I got it (it was ordered online). It's built very well and has run flawlessly. So, one out of 4 of the 30 rounders works well enough to rely on.

The 20 round mags are a mixture of both Beretta and MecGar. Flawless. Awesome. You can not go wrong with MecGar.

If you are referring to the silencer or the magazines, yes, legal. I live in Florida; other states may have more oppressive anti gun laws. I have documentation (stamps) with the ATF (Alcohol Tobacco Firearms & Explosives) for the silencer. That's federally mandated (tax).

I really want something I can use standard ammo in.....yet I guess I can load my own I do already make 9mm and I really want to be able to use my sites....but I guess point and aim is still doable. I am afraid when it comes of talk of boosters and ive heard the word turbos....

Yes, in two ways:

1) On the pistol, this particular silencer is wide enough to block the sights. The impact of the round is not changed, but the "sight picture" is effectively destroyed.

2) The same silencer on the CX4 Beretta Storm rifle has no effect on the grouping.

The speed loader is a UpLULA. Israel made multi calibre, multi brand magazine loader. My friends at East Orange Shooting Sports in Orlando, FL set me up with it. It's sweet. Beats every speed loader I've ever owned or used before.

You like the zip lock bag, huh! I bought the 1,000 round ammo can of "Canned Heat" 9mm 147 gr subsonic from Georgia Arms. Sometimes I count out about 100 rounds to a bag or just fill several up when I know I'm going to make a day of it...along with all the regular ammo.
