I remember watching this 3 years ago in 7th grade during science class. While watching, I was wondering why it sounds so familiar. Once I realized it was Turning Japanese, I just had to tell two of my friends that it was Turning Japanese which I shared with them a few days prior. Good times
@PROTENON yes he does we were watchin this in class and we kept rewinding it and we noticed it and the teacher kept doubtin us untill she heard it and made us turn it off.;.
Well I was wondering, cuz it was about the same time that I had. Plus, the username sounded familiar. So yeah. Shut up next time and mind your own buisness.
First of all, it's clearly "flocking." Keep in mind this was a PBS kids show!
Also, I like how they took a very '80s song and did it up in a very '90s style. The hair, the way, they're dressed, and even the singing all say "'90s" to me.
Oh, I'm so glad you've collected all of these songs. I liked 'em when I watched the original show as a little kid, but it's been 15 years, so now I get to rediscover them as an adult.

Wow they did EVERYTHING!!!! They even kept the japanese opening riff! Thats such a rip off. They usually alter the song a bit but its the exact same fucking thing! Wow. I'm gonna kill Bill Nye if I ever see him no the street. JK.
@NyeTunes Lmao , at the end didn't you realize that person said they were joking ? at the end he wrote JK. And yeah , i agree that's what they usually do , but still ! :P
There are these things called Parodies. It's a process in which you take a well known Movie, Song, Game, Book, or whatever else and change it into a form a comedy!
Oddly enough, I heard this "Turning Japanese" parody on "Bill Nye The Science Guy" back in elementary school before I actually heard the original after the 9th grade. I like song parodies about science just like this! :-)
Anyone remember that the original song ("Turning Japanese" by The Vapours) was thought to refer to masturbation? Well... the band name? The STICKY SOCKS! LMAO XD
