in case you haven't notice they both have salty water. There is no sweet water in there (there is no barrier either, it's just water mixing slowly). Besides, it can be seen easily with bare eyes. Really people switch off their brains when it comes to reason vs religion.
@BatmanbinSuperman12 Considering the quran mentions two seas, that river's water and sea water do mix, and that it can be seen with bare eyes... my point stands.
@Galathea000 no, actually true, they are indeed seperated by a barrier but this is not something that can be seen with the naked eye, its a difference in between the salt gradient, this phenomena can be 'observed' and how: scuba diving, light travel at different speed inst different medium, so quality of light if seen via one of the waters is markedly different from the other.
@stranger2two I just read the tafsir of ibn kathir, in fact there are 2 verses, one talks about 2 seas, one salty and the other fresh. The second verse speaks only of a barrier. But you can clearly see two different colors in the vid. you don't need to be divine to know that. It's as it were saying "the sky is blue", and people claim a miracle...
@Galathea000 haha, but that is what i tried to tell you, this is not a 'visible' 'can-be-seen' phenomenon: it is the like of 'air' it cannot be seen, but it can be proved to be existing. i do not know why some retarded just cry on miracle at things as per to what they want to see it at. ^_^
@stranger2two But i find it strange though, why doesnt this verse need interpretation unlike the verses that say stars and galaxies are projectiles thrown on jins, or about the sun revolving around the earth, or stars and galaxies being closer to earth than the sun ?
I mean the amount of absurdities is just incredible, especially considering the claimed author. And the muslims' answer is : we just need to reinterpret until it fits facts.
@Galathea000 I think that basically the Qur'an is not a science book and It is a book that is really on about the doctrine of 'al walaa wa al baraa' which can be roughly 'interpreted and not translated' as 'what is of faith and what is not, and what does it necessitates and what does it absolve itself from': It is living by the spirit of Islam which is 'There's none worthy of worship/there's no God besides Allah' (both actually imply the same thing actually).
@Galathea000 on about projectiles, I think that this is correct coming from a muslim, if A muslim can trust God with what he sees, then why can't he trust Him with what he sees not. I mean, i had found that absurd before, but then why not? what is actually wrong at thinking as such. Islam says that their God is aware of each and everything and that everything happens due to what He has willed - be it the slightest rumble of a leaf or of a black ant moving in the blackest of night
@stranger2two the quran is not a science book, but it's supposed to be the perfect word of the creator, yet it has huges errors when it comes to the understanding of the universe, and it makes it completly incompatible with facts and science.
About the the projectiles, it says explicitly that stars and galaxies are thrown on jinns, and according to a hadith those are the chunks of rocks that burn in the atmosphere (please compare that to the thousands of light years wide galaxies).
@Galathea000 i had these confusions as well, but the translation of the Qur'an is heavily flawed dear, i - at times -think that the translation of the Qur'an might have had brought much damage to that religion actually. But then, i knw of the hadith ye are talking on about, but i do not recall if it talks on about galaxies, i mean, i'm pretty sure that it doesn't include that. =/. let me check, and my apologies, i did not know that ye replied to me at when i had replied to ye. :P.
@stranger2two the hadith does not comprise of galaxies - only shooting stars. really, if only you could bring forth the hadith, then i can be of any help.
@stranger2two Same goes for the hadith (from boukhari and muslim) that describes the fetal developpement, which is wrong from start to end, and i'd like to note the part where an angel comes at the 3rd month to give his appearence to the fetus and his sex (not by dna and sperm's type of chromosome).
Or the clouds being moved by an angel (not the wind).
Or the sun revolving around the earth and sets in mud (not rising on other parts of the world).
@Galathea000 haha, i had read on about that, and as a pre-med, it's the most precise! seriously. There's a book by one Dr. Maurice Bucaille, had read that aeons ago.
they even say that each single drop of the rain is carried by an angel, but still, i find it not outside logic. I mean, what if God was able to do that, what if each drop of rain was not something haphazard actually? the setting of in the mud has all been clarified, i think that you'll have to check your sources.
@Galathea000 of what is seen and of what is concealed. It's all on about having faith, the Muslims believe in the existence of Jinns, and what if God with his immense power was able to put up a symbiosis in between these happenings, (like the 'butterfly effect'), why is it not impossible that God is able to use fire of the skies against invisible creature of the skies. what if what we see is only some iron or ice chunks but actually may be a bigger image. and I'm sure God is able to do all...
@Galathea000 ha, there have been some great misinterpretation on about heliocentrism and Ptolemaic system, i think that(i'm sure of) that this may be again the act of some 'amateur retarded someone' with a little knowledge of Astrology trying to explain the 'credibility' of it, same for when some people wanted to use the Retrogade Motion to explain how the Sun is going to rise from the east (as it has been said in the Hadith).. But still the Qur'an is blameless..
@Galathea000 i guess there's wikiIslam (such a poor place to know on about Islam, it really gives revulsive ideas on about the later. (sighs)), last thing, There has been no reinterpretation of the Qur'an- indulging in as such is like taking the place of the Prophet.. what i feel like is that Science does not disproves the Qur'an, it corroborates it..albeit is is not a science book. I love Islam. =).
@Galathea000 no, i ain't stretching interpretation, actually am a student of theology and up till now, i'vent found anything flawed in Islam, and.. 'reverting' to Islam is the best thing that can actually be done... you just really made up my mind, i mean, really made up my mind. Thank you much. and take cre meanwhile.
@stranger2two Well, you seem to want to believe because you want to believe, ignoring logic and evidence in the process.
"Fetal developpement is accurate" seriously ?????
About the tafsirs and the quran, i read them in arabic. And if you check out ibn kathir or tabarii, you'll notice that they explain with hadiths, meanwhile recent apologists explain according to today's knowledge, which ever is true is the interpretation, no sources whatsoever.. Just take a look at ibn kathir's 36:38.
@Galathea000 hey no, am really serious, i mean once again, as a pre0med, i had felt/feel that it is consistent, it corroborates with what we have been taught in Anatomy and/or Biology. Actually, my logic calls upon me to accept Islam..as it appeals to me 'cause I find it true and serene. still i find nothing wrong, it talks on about the prbit of the Sun and the Moon, something which exists, it speaks of pillars holding the sky in a metaphorical way.
@Galathea000 I really think that you should go deeper inst yr research, I ain't critisizing, just a kind advice from me.. Likewise there also has had been the use of the 'hands of Allah in the Qur'an', but that does not mean that Allah has hands, atleast not the like of ous (that would be anthropomorphosis), as it has also been said that 'none is like him', plus in Islam there's something called Ihsaan which is the similitude of 'perfection of/in Faith' and Ihsan is a state of being wherein
@Galathea000 worships Allah as if he sees Him when he jnow that he cannot see Allah but Allah can see him, there are so many examples of as such. Singular contradictions are many in the Qur'an, but that is only if they are taken out of context. So, So, So many. It's good that you've learnt Arabic, I still am struggling, i think i'll be going for an undergrad next year.. But, But, knowing Arabic is not a certainty of understanding the Qur'an, for the shias speak arabic, so do the kharijites
@stranger2two I think your perception is very biased when it comes to religion. If you're in med school and think that an angel comes down to give his appearance to a fetus and define his sex, there is something wrong in the picture.
For the sun setting in the mud issue, there simply is no way around the fact that the prophet said it explicitly. And there was adebate about weither the word used (hamia) means mud or hot water, and sahaba used to say the two aren't mutally exclusive.
@stranger2two The fact that there are virtues that are good doesn't mean it's true, you should know that there are also horrifying things that sharia defines.
you should ask yourself the question is why would you believe in something with such bad evidence in the first place ?
And really it's pretty simple, you have been born in the right country, with the right family, and you've been dogmatised by it. Just like christians or hindus or zeus' whorshipers.
@Galathea000 well, the thing is that i find Islam to be perfect and i'vent found anything that can contradict my belief up till now, it's true that i've been vague whilst sharing with ye, but that does not mean that my beliefs are baseless. Sharia is wonderful, ask that to someone doing law, or a practicing barrister or solicitor, sharia is magnificent and just! I do not find it to be harboring bad evidence, for me it's vivid and vivacious, it still amazes me.. i do not think that am being bias,
@Galathea000 'cause albeit i may be no expert inst matters of religion, i've found and verified Islam to be the best, not as the like of the 'less of all evils' but just as being perfect. But it may also be that it is something that suits me, somethng that appeases me, what is good to me is not necessarily good to you, or i may not be liking what you like, but in this matter (purporting to the soul), i feel that it quenches it, it complements me. It just fits in so completely in my life that i
@Galathea000 feel that it might/is the best thing to do actually - perhaps, thats my being intolerant, is it? or brainwashed - i doubt so! (LOL). I've met so many fine examples of so-called/self proclaimed Muslims that..if i were to learn on about Islam via their mouth....you knw the rest. ;P, but i've also met Muslim people, i mean Muslim and not just having an arabic name, and.. this is fantabulous.. an experience.
@stranger2two That was exactly my position a few years ago, until i got out of that intellectual cocoon (dogma) and looked at the evidence objectively.
All these things you just said can also be said about christianity or buddhism. These are personal experiences and simply say nothing about whether a particular religion is true.
@stranger2two Do you think for instance that cutting ppl's arms and stoning them to death, or killing them for apostasy are good practices for a prosper society ?
What nonsense! Muslims switch off their brains when it comes to their religion. No matter of rational thinking or scientific proof is allowed to penetrate that thick, protective layer.
@StopSpamming1 Did it hurt to see a clear sign from the Quran , did it? Its plain and simple for everybody to see but exept the blind ! Muslims switch off their brains , You can even deny this clear fact that is easy to check it out , imagine what kind of blidness you have !
Salt and Fresh water don't mix...Great!!! but why? how? Molecular structures?? Chemistry?...yeah okk.Who made those? Who made those TO WORK LIKE THAT?.Again with Science you can only prove the Existence of GOD.not how things are the way they are..Come to the right path.Stop denying the truth.God says to explore the world and find the clues of HIS(God) existence. Our ancestors are Humans not Monkeys..nor a unplanned HUGE explosion started this Universe. It is all God's work. God is the Greatest
@zohaibenator, Salty and fresh water do mix in the Sea and there is no barrier. This actually proves Quran wrong. Do a little research before posting something as a Miracle.
All You ignorant can come up with 1000 more scientific ways to define this. But the fact is Quran told us (Muslims) this more than 1400 years ago.You can define a lot of things with theories and science these days but after all WHO is it that caused all of this?In the end,LIMITED HUMAN BRAINS result in thinking of stupid MONKEY --> HUMAN theories or a Pathetic BIG BANG Theories. All of this makes our belief more strong Kuz Quran Also talks about Ignorant like you as well & how to leave them alone
Sweet water and salt water claim of Quran, Sura 25,53 refuted:
h t t p : / / url9. de / fso
A simple experiment: Just go to your kitchen and take two glasses of equal size. Now fill one of them half with fresh water and the other one half with salty water. Now pour the sweet water carefully into the glass containing the salt water. Now start drinking the water. If the quran was right, then you should not taste ANY salt until you have drunk the complete upper half of the water.
Mountains also play an important role in stabilizing the crust of the earth.[4] They hinder the shaking of the earth. God has said in the Quran:
“And He has set firm mountains in the earth so that it would not shake with you...” (Quran 16:15)
modern theory of plate tectonics holds that mountains work as stabilizers for the earth. This knowledge of mountains as stabilizers for the earth has just begun to be understood in the framework of plate tectonics since the late 1960’s
@madeye22 I just had a thought wanted to share with you and others... either you are a 12 year old kid or very grown person... because 12 years old kid doesn't understand and grown person doesn't want to understand (if they don't like some thing) ... otherwise you wouldn't use any wrong words about some one's religion that's how you guys pissed off other people and make them hate you, if you have any argument bring it on and talk with manners no one will hurt you ....
@dodyfinger please don't utter any words, you are embarassing muslims. Thanks to people like you, Islam has been labeled as intolerant by a good portion within the West.
@zainbadar01 its the amazon basin,it shows a river meeting the sea, this happens at all river mouths, but is more noticable with bigger rivers, there is no miracle here, the quran mentions a sea of fresh water, this is a river mouth
@DuckingNDiving no idiot the miracle isn't when the sea meets the ocean the miracle is it mentions in the quran that the river and the sea connect but none take over the other , meaning the sea doesn't go into the river nor does the river go into the sea , both bodies of water just turn back and so there is a obvious barrier , and that is mentioned in the quran
@djkhaled412 LOL and you call me an idiot, you are the obviously the fool here, the river water is getting diluted into the sea water in this video, where else do you think it goes?there is no barrier,it is the constant flow of river water that gives the visual impression that the 2 are not mixing, you muslims are the craziest people on this earth, you even think ants talk about political leaders (sura 27:18) LOL,its no wonder why muslims are so backward and primitive, the quran is man made bullshit
I can see how stupid the non muslim act

But the fact is Quran told us (Muslims) this more than 1400 years ago.You can define a lot of things with theories and science these days but after all WHO is it that caused all of this?In the end,LIMITED HUMAN BRAINS result in thinking of stupid MONKEY --> HUMAN theories or a Pathetic BIG BANG Theories. All of this makes our belief more strong Kuz Quran Also talks about Ignorant like you as well & how to leave them alone

Freshwater and saltwater mix in the zone of dispersion by the processes of diffusion and mechanical dispersion.

@madeye22 I Hope ALLAH Will Send You Too Hell Talking About His Coran Like That You Have No Right To Talk About My Bible Or My Religion Like That

@dodyfinger
you are just proving by your comment that you're quo'ran is a book that preaches hatred.
Why would someone want this? The only reason people tolerate Islam and that bullshit is because they are too nice.

@madeye22 My Book Is Not a Preaches Of Hatred You Are The Hate...
dodyfinger 7 months ago
@dodyfinger i'll ask you a simple question then if you're book does not preach hate or otherwise.
What is the punishment for apostasy in ISLAM?
madeye22 7 months ago

DuckingNDiving 9 months ago
@DuckingNDiving no idiot the miracle isn't when the sea meets the ocean the miracle is it mentions in the quran that the river and the sea connect but none take over the other , meaning the sea doesn't go into the river nor does the river go into the sea , both bodies of water just turn back and so there is a obvious barrier , and that is mentioned in the quran
djkhaled412 7 months ago
@djkhaled412 LOL and you call me an idiot, you are the obviously the fool here, the river water is getting diluted into the sea water in this video, where else do you think it goes?there is no barrier,it is the constant flow of river water that gives the visual impression that the 2 are not mixing, you muslims are the craziest people on this earth, you even think ants talk about political leaders (sura 27:18) LOL,its no wonder why muslims are so backward and primitive, the quran is man made bullshit
