  • The legend that is Adam Richman sent me here! MVF rules!

  • I take it, those two girls were friends with Fonzie.

  • and it's FINALLY on the air again in re-runs!!!!!!! Love you ALL!!!!!

  • The world is more evil now then it use to be. reality shows are horrible! It also makes AMERICANS LOOK CHEAP! I pray to God that shows come back like Laverne and Shirley.

  • LAAVERRRNNEEE!!

  • celebrate'' old school america'' on americas good side com

  • MY americasgoodside (dot) com celebrates ''old school america'' stories interviews

    peace tanya

  • This makes me miss the old Nick at Nite terribly.

  • I know. It really stinks compared to what it used to be!

  • RIGHT!!!

  • I miss this show terribly...sigh, good times.

  • i loved this show

i would watch this early in the morning

good times and im only in highschool

  • Agreed

  • Awsome, I loved this show, I used to live in Cananea, Sonora in northern Mexico and watched it every week from a tv network that aired from Tucson, Arizona, please tell me where can I get to see this shows

  • you can order it online. just google it.

  • I remember watching this! I would be so sad when I missed an episode! Bring back the re-runs!!!

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH! I'm only 20, but when I was younger this and Happy Days was like mine and my sister's obsession. TVLand should pick them both up.

  • I totally agree! Im only in high school and I love this and many other shows from that time period. TVLand should start showing them! :D

  • I miss this show..

  • Hey I gotta big favor ta ask! Do you by any chance have the episode: "The Rock and Roll Show". It guest stars Jack Mack and the Heart Attack. I've looked everywhere for this DVD and can't find it. I'm lookin for the song they ended up doin near the end, "Rock and Roll DJ" I think that was it..

  • can you rent this show at like a blockbuster or something?

  • Yes you can. The first four seasons are out on DVD. Hopefully Paramount will release the remaining four seasons soon!

  • I miss when this was on Nick at Nite in the 90's.

  • Oh My God!!! I finally get to see this precious footage. After years of watching Waynes World I am jazzed to see the original song. It is brilliant and its the kind of opening sequence I would like to see on sitcoms today. It shows candid moments from the show, actors looking at the camera in their intros, shows what they do in some episodes, and those tuning in for the first time see what would typically happen in an episode

  • You know about the theme song on the alarm

is not a bad idea. I am going to do too.

What memories, It was a nice show. Thank

    You for posting this.

  • hurts my face.

  • this makes me feel so happy...i love this show!!

  • This has the best tune.

I'm putting it on my alarm.

It'll get me up every morning.

It'll be my theme song, too.

    I'm borrowing it.

  • Good idea!!! I think I will do it too....

  • Gotta love a "Milwaukee" based sit-com!

  • Hey I was wondering if anyone might have the episode that featured a very early "Jack Mack and the Heart Attack". L&S were trying to make a band, (or sumthin along those lines) and they did a song called "Rock n Roll DJ". If you find the song/video, please post it. It was actually a kick ass tune

    Thanx

  • This is what you call a classic tv openning, not like now

  • amazing song. ^^

man. the times of this show was awesome. now television sucks now.

  • I love this song!!!

  • i love this theme song and opening sequence! i really hate it how today's shows for the most part put really no imagination into them. but as one reviewer said, this was from the golden age of television, when even the theme song from happy days climbed up to the top 5 of the billboard charts! and thanks to channels like tv-land and the old nick-at-nite, the golden age can be viewed by a new generation of tv-lovers, like myself.

  • These were the shows!! These shows were entertaining. Not like now a days. REALITY EVERYTHING!!

    These were the good days...

  • Yes! The good old days when shows were actually funny like Three's Company.

  • Dude this theme song makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I remember growing up and watching re-runs of this show in the early 80's when I was a kid. It was cool stuff man. I don't even care if penny marshal is gay, because she gained my respect as a great actor and a great director!!!!

  • The Days of Classic Shows like this are gone....Forever ! TV of today is FUCKED UP !

It's sad, I grew up off shows like this !Classic always !!!!!!!

  • happy days...laverne and shirley...three's company....whatever happen to sitcoms like that?

  • Im supposedly doing a dance to this song in my dance class...

  • I like them both on the bike. (thats how tight a friendship should be.)

  • Yeah... two dudes could never get away with that.

  • Yeah, this is my fav show, watched every episode, including when they moved to California...

Lenny and Sqiggy helped make this show successfull...

  • A great show from a golden age of TV shows. You just don't see credit sequences like this anymore.

  • I like when Beavis and Butt-head sing this, instead they say a schmeal, a schlong...

  • Hey this is my favorite show.... They where so funny...

  • great old show, ..reminds me of the 80s when I was a kid

  • oops the 70's

  • oh yeah btw that was one of my favorites. i used to stand in the middle of the living room and do the theme song until it was over- boy those were the days.........

  • uh lol surferchick25- thats not the 80's thats the 60's.

  • I can't watch this without thinking of "Wayne's World."

  • <3ed this show

  • I wish people would grow up and stop knocking Penny Marshall. This show was great and society SHOULDN'T dictate things!!! Society is the ROOT OF ALL EVIL!!! Gay or not Gay, who gives!!! People need to find their heads.

  • Look if Penny Marshall is gay that fine with me. This show is a classic.

  • This show shaped my life. Laverne the total lush introducing me to the milk and Pepsi hangover concoction, my fashion sense forever inspired by the perrywinkle blue and yellow Laverne and Shirley Pizza Bowling jacket with "The Big Ragoo" on the back, cursive L's on all my tops, and the Squiggy curl!

  • Every Tuesday night, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley...that dont' make them like this anymore folks.

  • One of my favorite shows! Laverne was my favorite. I miss the 80s!

  • Why do faggity ideas have to pop up everywhere these days, even with something as innocent as Laverne & Shirley?

  • esta serie es de mi epoca, que tiempos aquellos.

  • truly stunning loved the show

  • Yeah it was a classic, born out of Happy Days. Great show.

  • just because 2 women are living together it does'nt mean they are gay

  • This show melted my pre-adolescent brain. If "Happy Days" was shit, "Laverne and Shirley" was shinola.

  • Whether or not Penny's Gay, the show was a Smash Hit.

Good Clean Fun....Not like today. LAVERNE & SHIRLEY RUUUULLLLEEEE!!!!!!!!!

  • this show truly is a classic as well as a great and funny show.

  • I use to watch this every night lol

  • She's gay?

    Who said that?????

  • I didn't know Penny Marshall was gay.

  • Penny Marshall is not gay, she was married to Rob Riener, the "meat-head".

  • Well just because she was married doesn't mean she's not gay. A lot of gay people get married to the opposite sex. But I'm not taking anything away from her. She's very talented. I don't care whether or not if she's gay.

  • I use to love this show as a kid!!!

  • I love this show still!!

  • i loved this show as a kid and i still love it as an adult...a timeless classic!..and the song"make our dreams come true"by Cyndi Greco is just so cool.

    jamietro-n..thanx for the memories.

  • I was around before Wayne's World, so when I hear this theme song, I think of the show! Yup, 2 girls living together - GOOD!

  • All time favorite show! I could watch repeats back to back for hours! These two girls cracked me up till I almost wet my pants! :)))

  • Ain't that the truth!!

  • who sang the song - smooth voice! Lenny is James Hetfield of Metallica!

  • Cyndi Grecco sang the song.

  • blimey that takes me back...a bit too far

  • bring back shows like this because they were great

  • One of the best TV themes ever - Keep thinking of the Wayne's World spoof though

  • i hate when they moved to Cali that is when the show started to suck

  • This is from one of the later seasons, right (before they moved to California). If you compare this to the theme from Season 1, you can tell they've updated the music a little (especially at the end).

    ... Yeah, I don't have a life.

  • I loved Cindy Williams. Laverne is a dyke bimbo.

  • Err, wasn't Laverne the one who was boy-crazy? How does that make her a dyke?

  • Penny Marshall is a dyke and a half.

  • Oh. Well, a loss for straight males everywhere, then! :)

  • Really? Yuck. How is it a loss? Penny Marshall? Eeeew!

  • and your point is? Damn, you are afraid of lesbians. KD LANG is a dyke, so is Ellen and most of females in the world. I am sure your mother is a frankendyke, also. I have photos.

  • i've had this song on my head for two days now!!! but it was a cool show, yeah.

  • still very funny to watch.

  • This is one of those theme songs that sticks with you and stands the test of time. Everyone could use a little Shlameel, Shlamozel, Hosinpepper Incorperated.

  • Schlemiel, Schlemazel, Hasenpfeffer Incorporated.

  • Fails for not being Rick Astley.

    Sage

  • Lacks Rick Astley.

  • i dont think there isnt ANY one who doesnt remember these old shows!!

  • ABC ruled Tuesday nights back in the 70's.

  • Its scary at how bodies change over time. Hahahaha!!

  • I never get tired of anything that reminds me of my childhood.

  • I loved this show...it was responsible for me bein late for school everyday..oh how my teacher was overjoyed when it ended :((

  • Diz show was hilarious

  • i used to love this show!

  • Does any one have the ORIGINAL opening from the California episodes, Before and after Shirley?

  • I love these series! My parents used to watch these, too.

  • Sweet!!! Is this show on DVD anywhere?

  • I loved this show!!!

  • I like this series ,when I was 11 years old ,that my favourite show..

  • This was a great show.

    A classic.

    Really funny!

    George Vreeland Hill

  • yes, i agree. still very funny!!

  • waynes world rip off is better]

  • You know Cindy Williams kind of looks like Sally Field.

  • Not only do they look alike, but they were classmates at school - how's that for bizarre?

  • Extremely bizarre, if you ask me! I wonder if the teachers got them mixed up.

  • Who sang that song?

  • Cyndi Grecco :)

  • Thanks.

  • I meant LifeTime Real Women, not omen!

  • Even though I've never seen this show (it was before my time) I've always thought thier intro theme song was the best ever.

  • Three people on here need to be blocked.

  • Very small penis indeed.

  • Wow! I don't think anyone could sound as stupid as you just did. Seriously, calling you stupid would be an insult to stupid people.

  • You must have a very small penis.

  • do u have issues?

  • I like this show!! Please upload more.. thanks

  • I miss seeing this this show everyday. DAMN NICK AT NITE

  • Laverne and Shirley comes on everyday on the Lifetime Real omen network from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM. (Note: this is the only time I watch LifeTime!)

  • So awesome. The only thing this intro is missing is chicken soup.

  • Probably the only show theme ever to include yiddish words, namely "shlemiel" and "shlemazel"!

  • Love the theme!

  • i used to adore this show. the re runs of course

  • ur a spin off

  • NOO your mama's a spin off!!! OOOOOOO BURN! served.

  • Another Spin off was Mork and Mindy.

  • happy days had so many spinoffs, Laverne and shirley, joanie loves chachi, I think even malf had his own show for a season.

  • Laverne and Shirley was a spin off from Happy Days.
