I can give a guide for DIY versions. Former Scientific Hatcheries worker. My version can work on shrimps growt, this kind of systems are very good (sophisticated look) but the best to date is the fluidazed sand bed. is used by many universities arround the globe. Oregon use this for the Zebrafish research. Hit me for questions, the biggest marine fish wholeseler in los angeles use the same system (SDC), very easy to made, very dificult to operate... just like a piano, need a tune up...

This design is too sophisticated. You can find more affordable, simplistic designs that are high and cost efficient.
