I believe the lowered roof is for a padded vinyl top like on modern Cadillacs, and that roof more then likely wouldn't stop a bullet. Why would the roof need to be bullet proof anyway. That is also not a how to restore a classic like that, auto motive lacquer is different then the stuff in that can. Defiantly not Capone's car.
