@tintinarevalo If you are referring to saving and opening a photoshop document, you must save it as a photoshop .psd by going to File -> Save and then choosing the Adobe Photoshop save option. Restate the question if you are still confused.

Im trying to make an animation, and im trying to make something rotate, but it makes it rotate in all frames. I tried to copy it,but it wont allow me to. Any ideas?

@lilbranson If you don't see the other animation widow, you may not have the Extended version of photoshop. What version are you using?

@dansharkito I'm not really sure what your question is. Are you asking if you can add a background behind the text and still have it animate? If so, then yes.

made a design and had somthing in the middle ground move around a bit but when I go to save for web & devices(Gif) says not enough memory available? I've tryed merging my layers thinking it would work better but still same result. any ideas?

@DDBtheoneandonly Are you trying to save it to a flash drive? Your computer's drive may also be full. I've never received this error so I have no idea what advice to give.

@SnapSlap13 nope no flash drive, my hard drive still has lots of room (freespace) when I go save to web & device another window pops up. I dont change anything leave all as is, I click save its says my choices are html or images only (gif) I click gif takes a few seconds and says "could not complete this operation. there was not enough memory available" when the other window pops up is there somthing I should be changing ? if u cant help thats cool I'll keep trying.

@sonytactics124 This could be because you have CS3 without the extended version. From what I've heard, only the extended version has the button.

@Dliciousz You should be saving it as a .gif file, not a .jpg.

.gif files are the only ones that can play animation.

@t0nt0lin0 No, the only time you need to save it as a .gif file is when there is animation. Otherwise, you can save it as a .jpg.

@ArahDoofenshmirtz You may have it set that your text is at an angle. To fix it, simply click on your text layer and press "Ctrl+T" to transform your text to 90 degrees. Hold shift to lock the angle.

@sancurious This is easy. Simply put, when you're saving the file(for web & devices), there is an option for the animation to go either once "Forever" or "Once". Click on the option you want. Let me know if you can't figure it out.

@TheLastJok3r You are sure you have animation? And when you hit play on the animation it moves? Also, you might accidentally be trying to save it as a .png file so when you "Save for Internet and Devices" make sure it is being saved as a .gif file.

It's possible to have it glowing on multi-colored images, but it will be difficult to see.

Set the text to the color you want and just add the glow animation. Check if the opacity is changing. If not, you may have done it wrong.

I have the extended version. If you are not using CS3 Extended, then you will only be able to see the frame option.

Are you sure you are saving the file as a .gif? If you are saving the picture as a .jpg then your animation won't show

this is not photoshop cs3 the version he is using is the extended one which includes the animation option..cs3 users see only the frame options without the press able button as described in the video...lol nice tutorial though

You're sure you're using Adobe Photoshop CS3? If you aren't, that may be the reason. If you are, I really don't know what to tell you.

Animation only works on .gif files(as far as I know) If you save as a .jpg it will only save what you currently have showing on the piece of work.
