The sound ov that efing bike gives me buterflies nearly as much as the m1 yamaha but nothing will ever match the sound ov a motogp bike full chat !!!!!!!!!!!
I think you'd find most top drivers could make a transition fairly easily to racing bikes at an intermediate level. Whether they could step up to a world stage, that's another matter, but club level or even national level should be possible.
I did a track day once with David Brabham, (son of Sir Jack, check him on wikipedia) and found him a very fast and capable rider. He could have gone quicker but didn't want to take chances and hurt himself, and I can't fault him for that.
yeah and shumi is only 5' 8.5", odd he seems taller, maybe because he is just not a natural rider like those guys, so i guess my theory is wrong ;)...he should have just stuck to F1 though.
As cool as F1 cars are they are souless. He is quoted as saying that riding a Ducati was the most exhilarating thing he has done, the second most being sky diving.
wantto see a race over say 50 las of that Ascari circuit, 25 with an F1 car and 25 with a MotoGP bike
the 2 contenders ~
Valentino 46 Rossi
+
Michael Schumacher
who would win, both have shown talent in each others disipline... can't think of anything i'd like to see more, well maybe Rossi to race at the TT (if Steve Plater can do so well after just 3yrs there then who knows what Rossi could do?!?!?)
Because of the cut throat way he stole the championship from Damon Hill in the 1994-95 season. And before anyone jumps on my back & tries to call it a racing incident I completely disagree. He left the track with a broken down car then limped back on track as Damon was about to overtake him & take the championship & just turned his car into him. I'll never forget the smug look on his face too as he found out Ecclestone & his cronies had let him get away with it. Sorry but he's a prize arse!!!
schumaker should try 2 wheeleed dirt enduro...test of a real man that.. good on him though for having a go...whatever level he attains... get him in brit superbike for a season..
well done atleast he is having a go ,id love to be in his shoes and for him to give up f1 and take up the more exciting but dangerous motorsport shows just how much he loves two wheels like the rest of us
Your written expression is unfortunate. Your sentence is too long and ambigious. The sentence reads like "..., I'd love to be in his shoes an for him to give up f1 and take up the more exciting......" If you put a full stop after "having a go." Start a new sentence at "I'd love to be........" Full stop after "shoes." New sentence "For him to give up F1...." That way there would be no confusion and no link between "I'd love.." and "for him to give up F1". You should have four sentences not one.
Michael Schumacher has always liked bikes. He is a keen follower of Moto Gp. He retired 3 years ago from F1 and (arguably) he is in the top 3 of best ever F1 Champions including Senna and Fangio. In his first year off he started traing on tracks with
He started training on tracks with SuperMotard and smaller bikes then entered lower grade races in Eastern Europe and Italy on 1,000 cc machines, all modified production Honda Fireblades 1000 RR I think.
Last year he rode Casey Stoner's MotoGPDucati with a reasonable lap time. Still he is a long way from the top class. He isn't trying for a MotoGP or World SuperBike ride and is just racing for pleasure. He is in his late
30's and his racing days are numbered. He is a good rider.

Rossi would stand no chance. The curvespeeds are way higher in a F1 car.
Randy1337 2 years ago
you obviously didn't understand my idea, read it again!
it's a 2 part race with BOTH contenders using BOTH 2 wheels and 4... anyone knows a GP bike isn't as fast as an F1 car around a GP circuit!!!
henrymarkstewart10 2 years ago 2
Rossi drives F1 faster than Schumacher rides bikes. That is the point.
