I appreciate that tutorial. FL isn't what I use to create but it was still very insightful. Thanks for taking the time to put your thoughts out there. Lot of us cats out year (seasoned or unseasoned) can get a lot inspiration. I know I did.
Nice work! I like that SilkWorm plugin! The way you used it sounds like King Tee's song "Dippin'"! If you haven't heard of it, you need to check it out. It sounds just like that synth! You actually almost played the chords used in the track! Great beat & vid bruh! You're going to make me start using FL yet! I have it, but don't use it though. I'm just a hardware person, but I'll start incorporating software soon enough though I'm sure.
@Sinosure it's such a powerful program and you can do so many effects, so rapidly. I love the control it gives me, including automation, among other things. glad to hear that!
@Sinosure haha that's dippin track is sick...never heard it before. A lot of my tracks have the west coast G-Funk/dre glissando gagnsta synth...listen to tracks here and you'll see, including "Bay Area Sav" from Music For Dope Runs:
@wizztay check the new vids I've uploaded, they killll it (my beat battles with other producers going head to head and the infamous GKOOP who works with Jake One)!
I have a question... I recorded vocals for a song cover I'm doing but the mic I used really picked up a lot of the "ch" and "s" sounds making them pretty loud... is there a way to smooth that out?
@BritneyDigitalLive there should be a feature in the Effects menu under noise reduction like "click/pop eliminator" that I've been using for years and have found very useful. Also be sure to use a pop filter when recording.
Sick vid. Until the camera panned down, I was like "this another producer who don't use keys for shit??!?" Then the axiom. May need your advice on my set up. Tryna get that Axiom Pro. Need input as to an audio interface on a pc based system.
@BlackSoultan It seems to work better with Reason and other programs...I use basic functions like playing and automation for knobs on it. I've heard that the akai equivalent is more plug and play friendly...but you have a Maschine, now, right?
@phillipdrummond Yep, and that thing has it so you can connect a midi keyboard up to it and control the sounds in it. Next, it'll get VSTi support, so maybe I'll be able to control other soft synth bundles through the maschine. However, I still want to run Cubase on a PC and gotta figure out the best KB to use. Now that I have the maschine, I think I higher end midi keyboard could be overkill.
Damn bruh!!! DATS HOTNESS!!!!!!!!! Yo man, Im mad feelin your work homie, you do good work bruh....looking forward to hearing more work from you partner.
@TodaysbeatsTV I have three albums out currently on which I did all the beats...you can check at phillipdrummond.bandcamp. com and I'm also about to do a Slump/Calitroit/Jdilla style beat battle up here in SF in Feb, see going. com/slumpfest for details

@BritneyDigitalLive I think a DeEsser should do the trick for that.
Hope it helps
