  • 5:04 My piano never could do that

  • 4:04 I will always be undeniably envious of Tom for that as a pianist lol

  • 1:47

Jerry has no balls. Or they must be crashed after this accident.

  • @JohnnySaiko1 Didn't you know? Jerry's the Feminine one of the two

  • thses cartoons r the reason why i listen to classical music today, im 23

  • I wish I knew how to play the Piano, all I know how to play is the Playstation.

  • I think this is fake...

  • tom and jerry relationship is like a bad marriage

  • i like jerry when he is smile in 2:02

  • and 5:43

  • action starts at 4:53

  • From 5:12 to 5:16: that has GOT to hurt!

  • One word from me: CLASSIC

Nothing could ever beat the ORIGINAL Tom and Jerry. They'll always have a special place in my childhood ^^ My fave part is when Jerry is dancing on the keys at 3:45 and 4:15.That always makes me smile XD

  • I'm amaized how this cartoon has such a negative influence in children. Fact, of course, is reflected on todays individuals who I believe used to watch this... Pls see the anger, the contempt, the blindness some respond to my comments.

  • @ricardocaraudio I still beleive you are retarded.

  • @ricardocaraudio I would like to point out that in today's "colorful and wonderful" cartoons, the children will only focus on what the character does instead of what she says. If you make a child watch an episode of Dora, he/she will not memorize everything heard, but instead will pretend to go on adventure and do crazy thing. Tom and Jerry represents silent cartoons expressing themselves through sheer actions. a kid will say: oooooooh, tom is a bad cat he tried to hurt jerry.

  • @WarperBlade P.S. The fact that it is through sheer actions makes it easier for a child to understand.

  • how can any1 disslike this?Oo

  • haha xDDD I'm playing this :3

  • if only you could play hungarian rhapsody two with 1 finger

  • @miksmiks99 It's harder than you think cuz, differing from us, he plays it with only four fingers in each hand.

  • That piano doesnt make sense LOL the note says high when he presses the low key

  • definitely the best interpretation of this music ever!

    and I hate Jerry...why can't he ever lose :(

  • I used to love this one when I was younger... and I still do! <3

  • 5:39

  • 3:08

  • damn this brings back many many memories of when I was a kid :D

  • it's funny awesome

  • Hahaha this is funny!

  • fukin awesome!! i love it!! :D

  • Has Tom ictericia? look at his eyes!

  • 1:46 Jerry epic ballache...

  • Tom's hair reminds me of Hugh Laurie hair!

  • Childhood is when you admire Jerry for his cleverness and think Tom's a villain. Maturity is realizing that Jerry's a complete asshole.

    - The Internet.

  • @thekngofme

How would you feel if some one woke you up like Jerry? I don't blame him for wanting to ruin Tom's performance!!!!!

  • I wonder now who plays the best Franz Liszt: Tom & Jerry or Bugs Bunny?

  • I remember this tune from somewhere just don't know where exactly

  • I miss so much Tom and Jerry :)

  • :jizzinmypants:

  • Keyboard Cat!

  • ok?

  • And after all this it still sounds like music.

  • Can someone please tell me which instruments are used here?

  • If I had a mouse trying to Mamet me I would seriously play that fast

  • I remember very well this episode of Tom and Jerry, one of my favs when I was a kid and still is :D

I loved how these cartoon never talk but still make you laugh so hard!!

  • I love this cartoon and Liszt's work. Tom plays it so much better than anyone.. :)

  • man I wished I could play piano with my toes

  • No one plays it better. Cartoon classic, pure gold.

    Bravo Tom.....Bravo =)

  • I want to point out the amount of violence shown in this show for children aged two and forwards or @ their early age as a fundamental educational contribuiton is harmful to good mental health. Indeed clasical musical is positive element but where the play shows a pair of scissors, constantly aggresion from eather caracter... My child watches cebeebies in the Uk and at hers 28 months of age can already count, nows animals names, don't think any child in the world watching can do the same...

  • @ricardocaraudio Hi, I see your opinion on the fact that there is violence in these cartoons, you say that these are negative influences on children two and over. But the fact is, that these cartoons were meant to be played before movies to mature audiences unlike yourself.

Now I get that you had failed your spelling class back in 1st grade and after your parents received the report card they were so mad they threw the cat at you. Now go back to watching "Cebeebies" As it is appropriate for you.

  • @ricardocaraudio You are sooo retarded. 28 months is basically 2 years and almost a half years old. stop making it sound like ur child is some kind of prodigy. so for your information, most kids learn how to count and no animals by 2 years old. so stop acting like ur any better. ur just saying 28 months to make it sound like ur child is sooooooooooooo young to knwo how to count.

  • @ricardocaraudio Just so you know some of the billions of people that watched this are some of the smartest in the world. They differ from you who watched the TeleTubbies at an early age. and from what I read, you seem to have suffered from severe stupidity.

  • @WarperBlade That watched Tom & Jerry, I meant.

  • I am quite amaized for the violence showed in this cartoon. It should be forbiden as children's watch... How parents can leave children at merce of this violence promoter. Who ever the designer is, was guilty of such violent children at schools in the 70's 80's and 90's ...

  • @ricardocaraudio Have you even seen TODAYS cartoons?! Maybe T&J is violent but at least it's creative violence. And show me a modern cartoon that features classical music.

Todays cartoons/movies/videogames are pulled out the ass. I was shocked when I met 7-year olds who can't even read.

Violence(and many negative things in society) is caused by inequality and it's a proven fact.

  • @ricardocaraudio are you retarded?

  • @ricardocaraudio Your mom musta gave you need of mental help. wait seven years, i'll be a psychiatrist by then.

  • dis is epic.......XD

  • hahahhaaaaaaaaa that's really funny!!!

  • No sorry i was searching a video not comenting sorry...stupid phone...

  • Death to all but metal

  • happy birthday sir!

  • To-day is Ferenc LISZT's 200yrs. Birthday!

  • Such an amazing way to teach children about classic music. I miss these old cartoons. These were the real entertainment for children.

  • Happy 200th Birthday Liszt Ferenc! :)

  • @manutdbvsc how could be happy when he's dead ?

  • @KitFlint he is a immortal...

  • 3:09 and 3:18. Jerry is a dick. NEver really noticed how much cause those were fucked up.

  • God!! He only use 8 fingers to finish this~~

    Unbelievable!!

  • Love it

  • THMMKT

  • Tom is a musical genius...classical piano, country on the banjo, blues on the base....wish I had a cat like that.

  • Tom only has 8 fingers and he can play this song...

  • That cartoon was the first inspiring influence for the pianist Lang Lang (According to his autobiography "Journey of a thousand miles, my story", chapter 2 called "Tom and Jerry")

  • Jerry is a male mouse...at least he was until 1:47

  • @chococat108, both are parts of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody

  • @iamdaillest24 Me too! In fact I hate Jerry very much...Poor Tom:((

  • @pklinh97 yep half the time it was Jerry was the instigator lol

  • 4:02 I wish my fingers were flexible like that.

  • wonderful song

  • 3:03

  • this will never get old

  • What ever happened to cartoons =/

  • Tom plays it much worser

  • AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM IN THE ARTS AND SCIENCES

Americans weren't just the first to walk on the moon, Richard Kastle was the first recording artist to play Liszt's ending octaves the way he intended them to be played. Ane he plays the piece with style and extravagance. His "Streetwise" CD outsold the Russian and Canadian pianists, making the top 100 in American record stores. The Chinese pianist plays an easier version. It doesn't count, when you play easier technique.

    Go team USA!

  • @6347285

So American exceptionalism in the arts and sciences is basically redoing 19th century EUROPEAN music.

    good on ya m8.

  • @Nthazt No it's not. Richard Kastle also composes symphonies and concertos. American exceptionalism is also about creativity. His version of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody #2 is exciting, because it is a composers interpretation.

  • my favourite piece of classical music

  • Due to Tom and Jerry being etched into my mind from a very young age, this, for me, is the definitive version of the song, no matter how well or how precisely done it is in real life

  • 5:12 - 5:16 :))))

  • I like how the cartoonists got the notes right for the beginning of the video...but later, they were probably like SCREW THIS LETS MAKE TOM PLAY RANDOM NOTES since they were too many D:

  • LMAO when Jerry slams the piano lid!!

  • 3:42

  • lol i can only play a little of this and no not just the begining

  • Believe me, I play the original piece on piano, and every time I play it fully I end up looking like Tom.

  • @yahelhellyea I had to play this piece on my final exam at musical academy - i was pouring sweat at the end :D

  • @yahelhellyea But not because of the part why Tom ends up like that, I'm quite sure :P

  • This has to be my all time favourite tom and jerry :D

  • look at his face :D:D:D:D

  • Chuck Norris could play this with a comb and a piece of wax paper.

  • I loved these types of cartoons growing up even now showing them to my little niece introducing her to beautiful, inspiring music through humour I can't help but wonder why there aren't anymore TV cartoons like this?

  • best part 3:09

  • I wish cartoons now-a-days were half as good as Tom and Jerry were.

  • Love this as a kid and also liked the wakkos wish one too.

  • Tom must be Keyboard Cat's father!!

  • one of the most memorable moments in history of cartoons. very funny image of what might have happened when Liszt was creating the music! love it!

  • Slapstick is the oldest and best form of comedy there is

  • @konvict63 Slapstick with great music, now that's something :)

  • jajajajajajaja

  • epic

  • Good video lol.. I like it.. I used to watch this show when I was a little girl..

  • took me years to learn that the jazzy improv he throws in at 4:11 wasn't part of the original song xD

  • @xxwanting With the whole song, or just the part itself?

  • @MrFavorite01 just the jazzy bit.

  • @xxwanting Lol, that's intense.

  • Do you know, the Liszt is mean "flour"(in Hungarian):D? Excuse me, my wrong English imperfect knowledge.

  • don't make them like they used to

  • Didin't know that it was a concerto. ;)

  • it has been YEARS since I saw this episode, but I always remembered it and ocasionally played it in my head, but never knew the real mind behind this peace of music, Franz Liszt, thank you Tom and Jerry to introduce me to this musical knowledge! =D

  • 0 dislikes. Now that's an accurate portrayal.
