@xXMethodKidXx Not only it was in a 16-bit cartridge, this isn't the whole OST, and, having a multi-disc OST, the game itself should have been in multiple discs. Although the OST could possibly be in multiple discs, since the sound in a 16-bit cartridge has different compression rate than disc digital sound, it's just that the OST isn't that long. However, it does seems that he only plays Xbox games, or he just doesn't know any other console than 6thGen or 7thGen ones.

Who wants to see an actual Sequel or Continuation of Chrono Trigger that has the same RPG style (except far deeper) on all consoles (except the PS3) including the PC, with more than fourty hours of solid gameplay, no characters from the original (no magus wannabe or anything), fully voice acted, all created by someone who can design and paint a beautiful story...Maybe SquareSoft / Microsoft / Bioware can come together and do it.

because they mass produce them and try to do as little work as possible for as much profit as they can make. back before graphic engines that were anywhere near realistic and 8 bit sound they had to make a great gaming experience to keep you loyal and buying them. now it's a thing of the past. also today's game companies have forgotten it's all about the fan and gamer experience and not just SOME job to clock in and out of. it's a lost art my friend.

have you listened to the final fantasy six piano collection? it is as much of an amazing experience as this soundtrack. chrono trigger is definitely very memorable with its character and battle themes....also the sequence where you get the epoch is epic....but the FF6 piano collection is simply a wonder in its own right too. it really brings out the emphasis on games that had lovable and emotionally investing characters!
