okay, decus was using solum's core of deception to lead the attack on the blood purge so the church of martel and the chosen would be blamed for it so they could cause revolt against the church so they could get brute to become king with the cores. that wasnt Lloyd, it was decus Llyod was collecting them trying to prevent ratatosk destroying the world because he killed aster. it's highly recommended because the first game was really good. And if you were like me and you fell in love with the characters and then waited 2 years for this, it sorta gives it a nostalgic feeling to it, althought the visuals are nothing like the first game.

I hear that many of the voice actors have changed, so it might be a little confusing to have to switch hearing between 2 different voice actors.
