Photoshop by far in my opinion. You have alot of options and ways to do things, but I do also use ms paint, just for the fun of it. :3

The only problem with Photoshop- Its incredibly expensive. :/

It's a screen recorder, look up Hypercam Studio and download the software, it's pretty easy to use.

I shade with a very diluted black, same with white when I add highlights ie. the mane and tail. Corel photo, which is photo editing software and not a paint program. Been digital painting for about five years now.

If you don't have Corel Painter X or the one used in this vid, you can make the mane & tail shiny by using the Dodge tool on Adobe Elements 3.0, which comes with Windows XP.

Thank you, and this was done using photo editing software so there really isn't any other tool other than an airbrush effect. And the song is Riot by Three Days Grace.

This came with my pc, but I have new much better software now that I bought from Office Depot for $93. Save about $200 by not buying it off the site. But it's Corel, if you go to their official site you can download a free trial version/
