@slpadabass0 actually, they are appealing to teens because not many teens can afford high quality basses, like me, and because of the sound you can get out of them for such a low price, and then upgrading the pickup to an emg35dc? david the bass player from deep kick plays his flea bass live even when he has musicmans and classic fenders to play from, so it is a nice looking bass, but its a pretty good bass for the price and anyway its not the bass, its the player:)
